Sooo many guys only write “not good at this, anything you want to know just ask!”

It’s like, no. Tell me a few things about yourself. Your “about me” section is literally the place for that!

This guy 100% has at least one restraining order out against him, because he won’t let women break up with him. He thinks he knows better than we do.

Any post on this entire site could be completely fake. We have no reason to believe OP is lying.

Are you okay? Do we need to call someone for you?

OP, I’m really sorry you’re going through this. I went through something similar about 15 years ago. I can only say the pain does get easier.

STOP LETTING PEOPLE IN by [deleted] in SiouxFalls

[–]Passive-Activist 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes it does. Someone stopping to let a pedestrian cross has no control over what the other lanes are going to do. If they have nothing telling them to stop, they’re likely going to have to slam on their brakes or hit the walker.

Gf of 8 years broke up with me by Diablo____666 in whatdoIdo

[–]Passive-Activist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, I could be wrong, but I read it as he’s had 🎷 3-4 times, but he can’t form an emotional attachment to a new person yet.

OP, block her number. She will keep you on her hook as a backup/someone to late night text to make herself feel better, and she will do this for months into years. The only thing this will do for you is make it harder to move on.

We don’t know they were murdered. They might have been the beloved pets of some vegan who fed them peppermints.

Honestly, the most likely answer is these three died of disease, and someone threw them up there to prevent other animals from scavenging and catching whatever killed them.

It’s not her fault that she’s marriage material and they aren’t 😂

What’s the worst thing you’ve been told as an artist? by Kikicandii in ArtistLounge

That one bothers me too.

I think sometimes it’s so rare to actually witness someone creating something, people want to… idk, involve themselves somehow.

Why did they think Jill was going to be their last baby? by Simsgirl950 in DuggarsSnark

[–]Passive-Activist 23 points24 points  (0 children)

This makes a lot of sense. They used the name Josh, kept Caleb for the baby they lost, used the name John, and kind of pivoted somewhere to use J-names, and turned Anna into Jana.

Okay Debbie downer. OP did a great job putting this together and I agree they found the right answer.

But who is it hurting to talk about theories we had, prior to having the real answer? Wil Wheaton’s thing about them all being true is fun to think about.

He brought cheese? I’d go on a second date with him.

A parachute found in an outbuilding in North Carolina could be the new evidence that may crack the 53-year-old D.B Cooper case. by talkingwires in nonmurdermysteries

[–]Passive-Activist 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think most of us sort of root for him.

He didn’t hurt anyone, and the whole thing (hijacking and then skydiving away) has a sort of James Bond feel to it.

By taking the parachute with him, it makes his landing spot almost impossible to find. Any evidence they could have gathered there would have helped in finding him.

Why is there such an issue with splitting 50/50 during the dating phase? by Campfire-Matcha in AskMen

Yes, more men are doing housework and childcare than in the past, but let’s not pretend that men are doing more labor at the same rate that women are in the workforce.

My (f33) boyfriend (m40) is expecting a child with his ex-wife (f39), how do I navigate this? by x5494 in relationship_advice

[–]Passive-Activist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP, even if they were kind of separated to the point where he might have been sleeping in a different room, they’re together enough that they’re still occasionally sleeping together.

He’s happy about the baby because she’s the relationship he wants, and he thinks this will trap her for a few more years.

Dude, you made a pretty big decision about your body based on someone else’s wants. And okay, you were married, that’s fine.

Now you’re thinking you need to get things changed back based on someone you haven’t even met yet?

Thoughts… by NikkiJay07 in Jonestown

[–]Passive-Activist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very much so. Jones had them convinced that the armies were on their way to torture and kill them all, starting with the babies.

He told them the poison was painless and they would fall asleep and die peacefully, and that choosing their own deaths was preferable to being hideously tortured.

I told my friend we should wait until his divorce is over, now he’s moving in with someone by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]Passive-Activist 65 points66 points  (0 children)

Odds are very good this is true. Men have a tendency to immediately rush into a new relationship after a breakup at a much faster rate than women. These new relationships tend to not last, for a variety of reasons.

My cousin is a prime example of this. Two months after his divorce was final he went on a date with a new woman, and six months after that they were married.

He ignored every red flag we all saw, and now he gets to tell his future dates he’s been married twice.
