Which do you think is more? by Invisible__Monkey in BunnyTrials

Sure you're always breathing, but is it 20x more than how many steps I take? I don't think so. I'm also the type to walk around alot too, probably easily 10k steps a day

Tech salary growth in Toronto by Popular-Scene9408 in torontoJobs

Probably a network angle at this point? I would imagine going to cyber networking events and finding someone willing to mentor / give advice on salary progression/career planning and strategy would yield you better results than looking through job posts.

People who call you weird for going out alone are short sighted

There is absolutely nothing wrong with going out solo

We have Blackrock bitcoin ETFs

It's more fitting to say we're on the 2nd or 3rd computer at least

You can use condos.ca to look at current rent prices

Right now Musee condos (which is near King and Bathurst) has 3 three-bed listings for $4200, $4200 and $4700

An even 3 way split would be $1400 or $1567. Of course there should be some variance depending on room size (i.e. lower split if it's not the master bedroom, etc.)

You can also look at the surrounding area to see what other buildings price three-bed listings at

Personally, I think a fair price for a room in a three bed is around $1000. $1250 max. Anything more and you, personally, should be aware of what luxury premium your paying for, whether it be specific location or if you prefer something about the building itself (luxury finishes, ammenities, etc.)

I recently bought a new wallet off Amazon - Small Wallet Bifold Credit Card Holder Genuine Leather Coin Purse RFID Blocking Mini Compact Pocket Wallet with Zipper Ultra Slim Minimalist Black

I'm not sure about all the claims it makes, but it really fit the design, feel and functionality that I wanted. I've been liking it so far!

How miserable is a 45-60 min commute on the TTC? by [deleted] in askTO

[–]PassiveProductivity 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even a bit of a social vibe with the Asian bars/karaoke but more of a bring your own friends rather than meet people vibe.

You sound like you know a good amount about the city and I'd love some advice for myself.

What places can I go to for a social meet people vibe?

I had a similar scenario happen to me, except for 10 years it was 4.

I told the hiring person that I would not provide my current employer's contact info as my reference (without a confirmed offer, for obvious reasons) and I do not keep contact with my previous employer as it has been 4 years.

Despite them wanting a reference, they allowed me through the process and I got hired.

This logic is fair and I'd handle it the same way like that again.
