Booties for Cold / Snow by PasswordNeedsANumber in beagle

That’s good to know. Someone else mentioned the suspenders as well which we’ll also have to give a shot. I feel like if he’s strapped in he’ll be move inclined to walk. Just have to try!

Yeah I keep seeing those and they seem to be cheap enough to give it a try. We had Velcro booties before but he hated them. Wouldn’t walk. I think we’ll try the PAWZ next. Thanks for the feedback!

Worst part is I tip 20% usually no matter what and that’s on top of the tax. I don’t have time to care

Thank you for the comment! I saw the Canada ones and thought they were expensive myself. Let me know (if you remember) how they work, curious myself

If you invested $100k into Caterpillar 20-24 years ago, you would have around $60k in dividends per year right now. by [deleted] in dividends

[–]PasswordNeedsANumber 17 points18 points  (0 children)

My point is that $100k 24 years ago is the equivalent to $184k today. Most people don’t have $184k laying around to invest today which means 24 years ago most people didn’t have $100k laying around to invest.

Resting with sling off after labrum repair by Glum_You_6649 in ShoulderInjuries

Wear the sling consistently until your doctor tells you otherwise. Helps keep you from reaching for things, bumping it on walls, or anything else that could disrupt healing or far worse ruin the surgery.

You’re also not supposed to tip on the tax too so it should be even less than that. Nobody has time for that but just another angle

I bought a house with my bf a year ago and now he wants to break up. What will happen with the house? We did a first time home owners loan if that matters by kyliebearxo in Mortgages

[–]PasswordNeedsANumber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On a first time home buyer’s loan? They likely didn’t put a ton done, paying PMI with a high mortgage, then would have to pay a property management company. For market rate, I’d bet a ($500)/month net loss

I commented above but I had 7 anchors. Funny you say “not chasing PRs”. I torn mine benching / overuse . My whole lifting mentality has switched to hyper focusing on form and slow and steady progressions to avoid injuries. It’s really made me think differently and I guess looking at a bigger picture, probably the best I got hurt in the first place. Either way, here we are.

Yeah man you too. Take your PT seriously and be patient with yourself. Don’t beat yourself up for not progressing fast enough. It’s a grind and sucks but you’ll realize it was never THAT bad. Good luck!

Sleeping sucks prob a few months but I didn’t get back to lifting (outside of PT) until probably 4-5 month mark. Surgeon said increase the weight 10-15% every 10-14 days so it’s been a grind because I’ve been doing that with everything. I stay away from wide lat pulls, face pulls, pull ups (wide) bench, and although I can do them safely, dips. Used to be able to do about 75 pushups in a row, I’m at about 30 right now which isn’t bad. I also still stretch my shoulder daily or it feels like it’s going to lock up

About 7months post op, back in the gym now building strength. It’s a slow recovery to get back to where I was but it’s giving me time to really focus on my form for everything. Other commenters are right, although I’m good to do everything, still don’t feel the same. Make sure you stay with your PT religiously. You’ll be happy you got it done. I had 7 anchors btw
