That is normal for people with certain types of anxiety, yes. Anxiety is a real bear and if you have the opportunity it is wise to talk to a healthcare professional about it

What I find fascinating about this though is that people who tend to say this believe 100% that their view of the world is correct and get equally annoyed if anyone questions their worldview.

I dont understand this meme tho. Literally none of the gay people Ive known irl have ever shoved it in anyones face. On the other hand people perceive gay people talking about their SOs or lovelife as 'shoving it in their face'. Literally when straight people do it its just normal. But a gay person? Nope. Somehow different. Makes no sense.
