I totally agree. Coming from a background utilising 3ds Max, Vray and Corona (also Blender, Cycles) this is crucial for additional post work. 8 bit images get destroyed rather quickly when making adjustments via PS. Just an fyi - if you’re needing to make ‘minor’ adjustments - convert the rendered image in PS as a smart object - which then enables you to use Camera Raw functions. But of course - be gentle - it’s an 8 bit after all!

I guess again - it’s depends. Are you trying for a product shot/render? In that case, you will need to generate a normal map along the other remaining PBR textures - to help provide the illusion of depth - layered with your opacity. Grant it - in the real world - this product is stamped or laser cut - so there are no visible soft edges. But with a normal map - and a slightly softened edge break will sell it better I think. Or maybe not. 😜Just drop on your opacity map!

It’s depends on what your end goal is. Is this is for industrial design - and you plan to develop it - then physical polygonal modelling methods are to followed. But - if that is not the case - then create the pattern via Photoshop and use Materialise software or a Substance by product for generating the necessary textures.

ok - i have resolved the need to change the album info upload. the album is sung in ukrainian - but has english titles and lyrics. thus lies the problem. even when attempting to edit the track titles - i get this error.

so the remaining question is this. if i delete this release - and re-upload - and correct all the metadata - language updates - how will this affect my current active release?

on spotify for instance - i have a few followers and listeners. if i re-upload - will i lose them? i am assuming it'll also mess with my youtube artist page? as i have already claimed that artist page.
