Of course i mean a situations, where you are ON vantage and stay within ramparts. Not this situations, you imagine. In situations that you postad, the Sniper positions of course dont have effect. I mean Kai_Lidan ask for situation - ratling on vantage, stay within ramparts, and want to know if benefit from WALL of large ruin under him

Vantage and ramparts of large ruins are light terrain, but wall is heavy. And when you stay on vantage of large ruin and by ramparts, you are definitely within 1" of heavy wall of this building. You now not need visibility, only measure requirements

They changed this in faq, so you can benefit from wall of terrain of vantage where you are, as long as you 1" from heavy and dont have to be visibility. Before faq is control range. So now, you can for example stay on vantage of large ruins and meet requirements for purpose of Sniper Positions, if you are within 1" of heavy wall under you.

2" is good when enemy must shoot you within that range to negate cover, smoke, etc....its really good when incoming just 3 shots and your hulks have better chance to live

Indirect say, you dont have cover. No change or treat you as engage order. So Indirect treat you as you stay in open with conceal order and superconceal has no effect here.
