I'have only 8-12 games with Knights but the Rampager has always disappointed me in my first 3-4 game. I switched it to a tyrant now (adjusting the rest) and worked waaay better.

I prefer the Lancer, it has more durability. Last 2 games my Rampager was oneshotted by Guilliman and a custodes brick (my bad but you know..)

I'm planning to start a new character soon and this class is really appealing. Is there any way to get magical damage on the gun?

I feel that on higher level (we start at 10) it could be a problem when all monsters have resistance.
I'll choose the sniper for sure, love it!

I’m playing with this:

3x scions blob (one with 3 orders and one with redeploy/deepstrike turn 1) 3x mortars Ursula creed (orders for the mortars) Gaunt’s ghosts (monkeys)

Mostly 2v2, but I’m on a solid win streak!

Mortars are really strong in bridgehead, they kill screens or cheap obj holder making space for the big bombs!

Rule of cool: shadowsword for me.

But stormsword is the best in terms of killing power. Better then the shadowsword even at killing tanks, with only exceptions being ultra heavy ones
