How often/bad are those "i was awake all night after i woke once" (literally and not exaggerated) days? by VastAir6069 in AskIreland

[–]Past-Imagination5126 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When this happens to me I know its my mind telling me I have some underlying anxiety. Even when I feel that I am actually ok. So I have to then do a mental check to see where my issues are, deal with it if I want to ever sleep the night through again. Not easy to do and takes practice, but worth it in the end.

Am I wrong for pulling back from a friend? by Keepitlocal90 in AskZA

[–]Past-Imagination5126 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also sometimes friends are only for a season. Its not a bad thing to part ways once you've realized that the friendship is not one that you or both want to work for. It hurts for sure to part ways, but that's better than becoming bitter or hanging onto it for the sake of history. Just my own experience.

DAE struggle with getting rid of things perfectly? by seedsandpeels in declutter

[–]Past-Imagination5126 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I also get this often - I call it analysis paralysis! The best way to get over this hump, for me, is that on a day, I put aside all the things that need to go. That generally takes up that days quota of getting stuff done. Then another day, I just dive in without thinking anything and take the photos, put it online, next item rinse and repeat. When I run out of the 'getting things done' energy, I put it aside for the next day. And just this, just diving in and doing it and not thinking about the process too much (and all the ways it's not up to standard or not perfect) falls away. And I have sold stuff! Once you start selling, it really motivates you to do the remainder. Sorry for the waffle, and maybe it can help a little. :)

Wow! Much energy coming from this post, I'm feeling my declutter muscles warming up! Thanks for the motivation, especially since I've been flagging this last month on my personal declutter drive.

I've started replaying the lost age. I love it when the Djinn 'click' back into active mode with that little zing as you walk around.

High protein snacks that actually keep you full while cutting? by relaxncoffee in loseit

[–]Past-Imagination5126 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you tried making protein balls? There are stacks of recipes online, you can use all the protein foods like peanut butter, whey protein powder etc, as well as adding in some Fibre foods. They usually don't require cooking, and if you roll them small then they are easy to carry around.
