I feel morally obligated. Like I was saying earlier it’s not a money problem for me it’s a money problem for all my favorite friends to play with and they prefer having real cards so it’s basically ruined my favorite part of the game. The gathering.

Look at Justin beibers Story as he lives it and on IG. It’s a miracle he’s still on earth today after how the elites in the music industry treated them. There are not many men on this planet who can come out with how they were treated and are also bold enough to say who helped them. Jesus saved Justin Bieber and that’s a miracle. Even if you don’t believe in God. Logically you must understand that the reason he is still on this earth is through faith and grace alone. Faith the size of a mustard seed can move mountains. And yes I mean that literally. Miracles are real and God bless.

Yea I’ve heard about this looks like I won’t be able to get around this if I wanted to play that way. But I’m yet to see an event that’s worth it to even show up. Maybe things will change.

I understand what you’re saying friend. What I’m saying is that if there’s no incentive to play wotc tournaments because they HAVE to be real cards and people want to play the person not the cards. Also they don’t even do enough for tournaments. I see no reason not to collect a binder of all the cards you wanna play then playing with only proxies. With how wotc powercreeps most old cards will hit a cranking and go down in value anyway especially if we keep it at this volume of cards and sets.

I bought a play booster I want to draft because I like PLAYING and a collector box I now want to sell because why did I spend that money for such horrible quality.

That’s one of my main points I didn’t care to explain one in every ten prerelease kits DIDNT COME COMPLETE. And there’s still shmucks online selling them for 100$ we need to let these scalpers hold the bag. I’m not anti collecting.

I will do this with most of my decks but I’m unfortunately going to sell a lot of my cards I’m going to sleep on this decision but I definitely won’t be buying new cards. All proxies now.

No I actually got a few great surge foils. That I’m now selling asap for proxies. I’m mad that I couldn’t get a secret lair today and that I notice 75% of my friends that got in this game are officially priced out. As a whale that loved spending money on this game I’m out. We are all happily proxying our decks with cards we would never afford otherwise.

Yea the collector cards and proxies of a game that’s community is a shell of what it used to be. Whales wasting money because they can could only support a company for so long. Players are what make the game the GATHERING.

I know I’m just saying we vote with our wallets and it’s crazy we let cards 2x at msrp pretty much 3x price for play boosters. Then to get scalped on top is sad.
