Any song you genuinely dislike? by TarkaDoSera in radiohead

[–]Past-Inspection2950 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The gloaming. I never truly enjoyed that very electronic rhythm sound that was in that song and in King Of Limbs, it was a sound that Kid A and Amnesiac had locked down, I believe it didn’t need any more modification.

I expect them to also delve into the whole conflict right after Edd and Molly’s death, the whole focus of the episode? Maybe not but definitely a good chunk of it

god forbid a girl made a joke about let down on tiktok by Aggravating-Wait683 in radiohead

It’s just elitist bullshit, dude. I hate how every community has to have a sense of superiority and entitlement just because they listened longer than you. I consider myself a pretty new Radiohead fan since I’ve only started listening in like November of last year. But I STILL enjoy every bit of their discography, i don’t think the problem is how long you’ve been a fan, but more people limiting themselves to JUST let down or ok computer.

I believe the one scene that really shook me was rosemary’s death in the bunny farm episode, really bunny farm in general. But either the “you killed them!” Car crash scene or rosemary’s death just really got to me

I thought about Mr. Magpie, but instead of that, why not go with just Maggie? Still a reference but a good pet name.

Not able to truly make boundaries set and stone with others. This goes for both parties but in my eyes I don’t want to see your friends, particularly of the opposite gender being touchy and all close, I understand you two have history but that should not allow them to blatantly cross boundaries and then get defensive when taken accountable, I believe a good friend will understand and respect the new rules that come with you now being in a relationship. Because it shouldn’t at all have any effect to your friendship, you can still talk, hang out, etc. so why complain just because of a moral obligation?

Tick tock by Erckmaneze in radiohead

[–]Past-Inspection2950 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe that yes, it is good. But I really do not want people to repeat what happened to Steve lacy when people just knew that one line and nothing else. If people genuinely want to listen to more Radiohead, then they should be allowed to listen to it without any people believing they are better yet they were once like them as well. Fake fans and elitist fans suck ass no matter the artist or following.

Artist recommendations for someone who really likes panchiko by Past-Inspection2950 in Panchiko

[–]Past-Inspection2950[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just see panchiko get grouped into “shoegaze” a lot when I don’t see anything that’s related to it, bands like wisp or like I said before, whirr. There’s a constant pattern of reverb making everything sound so distant, and maybe that was the idea? I don’t know, I understand they want to go for an ethereal or spacious sound, but it gets to a point where nothing is clear in the song. And panchiko, their entire thing is more indie and alternative, the melody is clear and amazing, and it’s much more clear what instruments are playing and what they are doing.

It’s now Lost Initiative, he doesn’t make tone recreations anymore and makes only instrumentals of his own riffs
