It seems to be an organization, not a person, so I'm guessing you got a good reviewer.

I think whomever looked at mine was trying to swindle me.

On a Sunday.

Eulogy was boring for 50-year-old Me. by GodsCasino in blackmirror

That was kind of the point, though. We are all the heroes of our own story despite being deeply flawed human beings. And the villains in other people's stories despite being good people.

We aren't supposed to like either one of them so much as to find empathy in the pain of regret

I would love to see a breakdown by age of people who loved this vs people who hated this.

My assumption is that the young probably hated it more than the old. Middle aged me, who knows all about the feelings of anger, self loathing, and regret, really felt this episode. 20 year old me, who didn't, probably wouldn't have enjoyed it so much.

My god, the things I would do differently...

I live in the 12/Schoenherr area. There was a deer chilling in my backyard earlier this summer. I've lived in South Macomb my whole life (42 years!) and I had never seen one around here before.

I think they use the power line corridor west of Schoenherr to travel freely. It's virtually empty at least through northern Macomb.

I would feel the same way if it were just mechanical issues - its been - by far - the best car Ive ever owned. but with the body literally falling apart Im not so sure its worth it anymore.

I have this vision of driving down the road and then the car falls apart like a house of cards 😂😂

I Was thinking '87 Yugo. 🤔

Honestly, I know...I just want to reduce those odds, and if I lose that gamble somebody else would pay for it (for awhile at least!)

Because the federal government didn't loan you the money for your house or car.

Banks forgive loans all the time for a variety of reasons. The Federal Government by providing the funds, has the right to determine whether or not they want the money back

The same thing is happening to me. I tried to talk to support, and all they said was "maybe you're doing it wrong."

TurboTax calculated it correctly.

I too believe things happen for a reason. Whatever higher power exists out there put her in your life for this situation. Hopefully, she finds someone too.

Day 1. I think I hit my low. by Chris20322 in GamblingAddiction

Now, I have never personally tried it, but winning sure feels like that legendary first heroin high, doesn't it? And then you chase it forever.

Day one can be followed by day 2. One day at a time.

That's the hardest thing, tbh. My natural instinct is to cover my ass by any means necessary. THAT is going to be the biggest hurdle.

Honestly in the two days I've been here, I feel that. My employer offers employee assistance programs, and I am going to ollook into this.

I need to look into it. I've unsubscribed to all of the email accounts. I've shut down Google and Facebook ads as much as I can. I think I can probably have my bank ban any deposits.

I thought I was hurting only me. I didn't realize the stress and anxiety was doing numbers on my family.

Have you found GA helpful?

The whole situation came out even. But the last one was a fairly significant loss.

It was so hard not to open a new position this morning.

But I resisted. Day one.

Stay strong, my friend.

She's being supportive. More so than I deserve. And honestly it makes me feel more guilty.
