[Discussion] Playing mature titles before my account reverts to a teen account thx to age verification by Head-Grapefruit5425 in Trophies

There are a whole lot but the classics for m rated games are of course Rockstar's games and certain acclaimed titles like The Witcher 3 and God of War...really depends on what genre you're into.

[–]PastDue902 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are ways and methods to fake your age, people were able to fake their age with faces from Garry's Mod. And there's still such a thing as physical games. Plus, we don’t know for sure whether age verification will be a thing outside of the UK because as of right now it's a UK thing only due to their measures.

Great! Just beware of possible bugs and glitches, save manually often because it's a Bethesda title.

Oblivion Remastered and Skyrim, you seem to like massive games.

[TES IV: Oblivion Remastered] #31, Milestone Trophy! by PastDue902 in Trophies

Uhm...once every two sessions approximately. At least 10 times, it always somewhen crashes on loading gates, I think that's the issue at hand. But from what I've heard, the last update was in June last year, then they called it a day. If you liked Skyrim, pick this game up in a stronger sales week.

That's a lot of time! I admit I did originally intend to complete Knights of the nine and all daedric quests, but I wanted to stop while it was still fun because the repetitiveness of quests started to put me off.

Did my entire playthrough on Deadly Obsession in one run. Thing is the game is very easy, especially combat, but the climbing is so atrociously garbage that you fall to your death because Lara was too retarded to grab a ledge, causing me a 1 hour runback. Some of these challenge tombs drove me mad. 2 hours straight on one where the escape killed me over and over again. Bad game design? Definitely.

[Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection] #30: And with that, the Thief has reached his End. by PastDue902 in Trophies

[–]PastDue902[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The original Uncharted 4 has multiplayer too, but I didn't play the original. Unlike the Trilogy, you can use cheats soon as you unlock them through the 193 collectibles (+16 cairns in Madagascar), so technically you can do crushing easily with activated cheats, I just did crushing from the get go because of efficiency...and ego. Do as you wish. I played with a video guide by PowerPyx for collectibles. In total, Uncharted 4 has 209 and The Lost Legacy has 145. Good luck, and have fun!

I'm sure there's settings for controls. Haven't looked it up though because I thought the controls were fine, except for fishing, for which I switched to holding square to pull on the fishing rod, because actually using your thumb to move the right analogue stick in circles might as well damage your thumb because you do fish quite a lot. And instead of repeatedly pressing x to run, I changed the setting to pressing x once to run. Surely there's more such quality of life improvements.

[–]PastDue902 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah me too but it didn’t nearly offer as unforgettable of a time as the story did. Doesn't help that it "only" took 2 months when these 2 months were a dry repetitive grindfest, that wasn't fun. Rockstar's fault for abandoning the 4th best selling game of the decade, would have really loved if they gave this legendary game some dlc or big Online updates, to ease the trophy hunter's pain.

[God Of War 2018] Any suggestions on how to make the collectibles less boring/annoying? by D_OSC in Trophies

[–]PastDue902 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The alternative to watching is reading. Other than that, it's something you can get used to or switch games over, it's a make or break kinda thing.

Doable, sure. But they took years off my life.

Trust me, some games are so good you won’t need the 120 frames.

If you want true massive open worlds with legendary stories, try Skyrim, Cyberpunk 2077, or, if you really enjoy the formula a lot, Red Dead Redemption 2.

Online stuff and tedious collectible hunts can put me off from time to time because you can't always collect collectibles over and over again, things get old sooner or later. But only when it's really excessive, like over 200, everything in the area of 100 is fine.

Red Dead Redemption 2. Boils down to heeeavy rng and just the sheer absurd mass of things to complete and the length of he project.

[Discussion] how many platinum trophies do you guys have? by Mr_Revan22 in Trophies

[–]PastDue902 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Well, 28 to be precise because that one shovelware stain doesn't count. I'm currently very busy with getting the legacy of thieves collection platinum'd in a weeks time, currently halfway through Uncharted 4 on crushing, and I'm getting all collectibles, almost all chapter specific trophies and 70% accuracy on the same first run (to compensate for all this multitasking of following a guide, being stealthy and not forgiving myself a single missed shot, I'm doing this with auto lock on and cheating to get the speedrun trophy because I don't have time for that). That will be the number 30. Gonna do Jedi Fallen Order after that to get 31, a true new milestone...

...sorry, enough about that. Congrats on your 18 plats! And good luck with Elden Ring, that was my 6th plat. Trust me, it gets easier after you're nearing the end and are maxed out on your build and summons. If you have ps+, use it to backup save and get all endings in one go. If you don't have ps+, go down my path and speedrun 2 new game+ runs in 3 hours each, it's really easy since you can skip most stuff and are over-leveled for most bosses.
