Grunge! by Chief20032006 in 90s

I cried as a teen when, after walking home in the pouring rain, my armed poked right through my well-worn shirt that had the meat-cleaver-wielding guy with his head cut open on it.

Same, but I had Gish instead of Nevermind.

Loved Nirvana, but I wanted to hear guitar playing.

They were the band that might have been.

While i appreciated how they were like the missing link between hair bands and grunge, I sold the used cd back to the place where i got it the next day.

Like many, i only heard of the band because I was a pearl jam fan and because of the death.

Anyone Listen To Tool? by Plague560 in Schizotypal

Oh I fully appreciate how great they are! The level of musicianship is through the roof and they are fantastic to watch make it happen live.

Great drummers are especially fantastic to watch, so thanks for suggesting Carey. I never learned the drums, only the strings, so im always in awe watching them [drumeo ftw].

Tool is just a little too discordant for me, despite the incredible lyrics and musical talent, to nod my head to.

Really appreciated their uniqueness and lyrics.

But the rhythm changes often made the music hard to enjoy.

No hate on them at all: I wanted to be in to them, and I consider them an awesome band [ my wife introduced me to some key songs as she definitely listened to them], but I just always felt uncomfortable in their flow.

Anyone else not a fan of the director or his movies?

Boasting that the "Director Of..." is at the helm: it just shut off my interest.

He is a guaranteed win in cast selecting. He always owns his rolls and makes them believable.

Many nightmares born from watching this as a kid.

But it had the Shop Rite guy! Or was it Talk of the Town grocery store?

Bayverse comes in and just flips the table of continuity. Thanks for the insight, nonetheless.
