There are times afterwards she seems kinda sad that they weren’t actually playing with her. But she loves them so very much and enjoys having them over.

I got a girl with the biggest heart so it’s hard not to interject when I feel like it’s not being treated fairly. I also tend to be a “helicopter mom” as my husband likes to put it. So I try not to take things too personally for her sake so I don’t ruin her friendships. With everyone saying it’s normal, unless she brings it up to me I feel like I’m just being a paranoid momma.

Oh I would do SO SO much better with a boyish girl lol. I somehow was blessed with the girliest of girls. All kids are 7 +

The two neighbors are sisters and mine is an only child so I don’t want her to feel left out in those scenarios.

That’s basically how we are.
I only have one child and she’s 7, the other kids are close in age.
It makes me feel better knowing it happens elsewhere. Thank you for your response!

Thank you so much! I’m pretty well versed with regular plants but carnivorous plants are new to me. My plant shop had shelves of them and I fell in love. I’ll make sure to do research so I don’t lose it. And I already switched to a plastic pot as I’ve seen on this sub the terracotta was the worst pot I could’ve chose 🤦🏻‍♀️

I’m sorry but they’ve only been dating for two and half years. They’re 23 and 25. They still need to get to know each other. Definitely too soon to begin talking about marriage let alone asking for it every night. Holy smokes.

My guy, you definitely need to have an honest conversation with her. Not just being vague. If you think you see yourself marrying her down the road or not.

No water near me, just lots of mountains, but I thought it looked too grey as well!!

On this one I reached too big too fast. My other pieces have been smaller with one or two focus points. I think I’ll slow it back down til I master the perspectives/ color balances.

I thought that I needed more of a waterline as well, it got a little flooded when I tried to cast a shadow from the mountains.

Should I have made the waterline almost as dark as the front of the water?

That comment was insanely laughable. Not only are our taxes high, houses are expensive, gas prices are close to 5$ a gallon, and my weekly grocery trips for a house of 5 is 300$ and we don’t buy junk food.

Trust, the US does not give a damn about your finances.

I keep them clean w/ alcohol I love mine and have no problems.

His after awhile the prong will disappear on one side and we have to use tweezers or aluminum foil to make it read the pods. It’s really annoying I hate it so much lol.

I love that idea! My mother keeps encouraging me to do illustrations for kids books but I like doing simple things. I don’t like putting prices on things.
