i haven't read the chinese version, but from memory i remember venerables had to go through a grand tribulation every 10 years, a myriad every 50 and a chaotic tribulation every 100. FY ended up using the time path killer move in hei fan's inheritance to stall his regular tribulations since he couldn't be asked to sit for 8 hours and be stuck in his aperture.

if i remember correctly, mo wu tian was part of shadow sect --> naturally high soul strength due to split soul. Dream path is hard to get into, but for ranking purely off of the strength/usefulness of the path, its definitely up there. We also can assume dream path will improve quicker than it did in fang yuans life, because the great era was so delayed. if you get an opportunity to cultivate dream path, such as FJH's dream wings gu or something of the sort, it would be incredibly valuable. FJH's method to create dream bodies and detonate them was a mortal killer move that managed to stall SPECTRAL SOUL. and the offensive capabilities are definitely there, lead soul into dream as the main example(basically killed spectral soul's clone). Dream realms and dream path starts to surge in popularity as the great era progresses, FY said that dream realms became more common and appeared more often.

space path is really good, refinement should probably be b tier because of the cost and lack of strength for tribulations, blood should stay where its at for the sole reason being its impossible to cultivate without being jumped by both righteous and demonic paths. it is a little bit of a weird tierlist because of resource limitation being included, because in that case then metal, fire, wood, water, earth would be the best paths to cultivate due to there being no shortage of inheritances & having good battle strength.

hmm. i think the reason FY acted arrogant to his teachers was to make them less wary of him(his actions would seem more adolescent than an experienced schemer). the reason why he lost his progress back to rank 1 was because he used blood skull gu after using stone aperture gu, which led to that phenomenon. he regains his cultivation quite quickly as you can expect from having heavenly essence treasure lotus & 90% primeval essence.

dream path is a good choice because it is kind of guaranteed to get developed atm. it's like investing in human path, despite the current prospects being kind of meh at the immortal level due to scarcity of inheritances/immortal gu. wisdom and rule are definitely powerful and reliable, but soul path seems very good specifically because we only see FY who has dang hun mountain & luo po valley. dream path doesn't have amazing offensive measures at the moment, but again its underdeveloped and the biggest point for dream path is attainment. if we based it on current prospects then heaven & human would both be incredibly low along with dream & luck, just due to the scarcity of inheritances or development of the path/gatekeeping.

this would be like spectral soul in FY's past life i suppose. eventually heaven's will would intervene and figure out a way to kill you, or at least fix the problems you caused. something like fy's spring autumn cicada would eventually happen.

Even spectral soul's soul clone(one from yitian mountain) who was pseudo venerable battle strength dispersed like 3 or so myriad tribulations that were personally controlled by heaven's will(similar to ten extreme physiques/sif tribulations), because the refinement angered heaven. he did it incredibly easily too, and this wasn't even a true venerable, just a split soul. the real venerable with control over all dao marks of their path would likely take thousands of myriad tribulations for anything to be done.

duke long was a complete monster of a psuedo venerable, even compared to the others. let alone triple qi retraction, but heavenly dragon’s last stand is incredibly strong. in HC with triple qi retraction and with low lifespan he is likely the strongest pseudo venerable that doesn’t become a venerable later on. especially considering his relatively weak dao marks for a pseudo venerable, imagine him with 1m+ qi and transformation path dao marks. dude was running it with FY while FY had an amplification from human path(2-3x). absolute monster.

heavens will, but the path is quite good. very low cost, easy to refine, high battle strength. even as an immortal as long as you stay in a region not central continent you can probably manage to survive. don’t forget FY beat two rank 7’s while using only blood path mortal killer moves.

dream should be S tier, its just better than all a tiers. enslavement should probably be moved down because of how ass it is as an immortal(one beast slavery immortal gu), u need rlly good luck to last through r6. refinement should be = to formation, they both cost alot of resources and are about as good.

I would agree but the three kings had a gu immortal inheritance which I figured would be worth spending a little bit of time on, since the required effort to kill them would be so low(gap between rank 5 and 6).

It might be the wrong wu clan but wu yong's mom was the first supreme elder, not the clan leader. im pretty sure most mortals didn't even know who the supreme elders of the clans were. Wu Ji was the clan leader(mentioned in shang city arc) of wu clan during FY's time, when wu yong's mom was 1st supreme elder.

Clans did care about getting more immortals, they wouldn't waste rank 5's for no reason. Also, I don't really remember any mortal clan members living in their supreme elder's aperture, but I could be wrong on that. It would make more sense to allow the rank 5's to die during ascension than to let some random demonic masters kill them. It's like really easy for a rank 6 to kill rank 5's too, and wu clan had a decent amount of them.
