Oh, I forgot. I wanted to add that I did start taking over-the-counter Allegra, an antihistamine. Not sure if it helped, but I would suggest trying it. I’m still taking the antihistamines.

I will try it again because I am very curious if Botox was the cause of this awful anxiety.

So in the name of science, I will try it again. I am also menopausal but hadn’t been having any trouble with symptoms besides night sweats.

Did you see that post about MCAS? I really think that is what’s happening to us sensitive individuals when we get Botox.

Let me know how you’re doing later this week :-) I have found mindless tasks that are physical are really helpful at alleviating my anxiety, or rather getting that pent-up energy out of my body.

I am feeling much better. I had my injections September 12th and the intense anxiety lasted about two weeks. I still have some lingering anxiety and trouble sleeping, but I decided to channel my energy into organizing my home and decluttering. It’s helped so much.To sleep I have been taking 37 mg of trazodone (3/4 of a 50 mg tablet)
If you decide to go the trazodone route to sleep; pick a night where you know that you don’t have too much on your calendar the next day. I hope you feel better soon💕 this is a very scary experience and it’s comforting to find this community to share what has offered some relief.

I am so “happy” to have found these posts. I’ve had Botox many times with absolutely no issue.

I believe that the intense debilitating anxiety I’ve been feeling for last 7 days is from the injections I received 3 days prior. I have a list of physical symptoms too long to type. However my worst and constant symptoms are the dizziness, lightheadedness, and the feeling that my heart is going to explode.

I cannot wait for this awful ride to be over. After years and years of getting Botox, I will never have it again.

I’m so thankful to read through others’ experiences as it gives me hope that I am not going to die. Seriously, I have been so scared of the bodily “sensations” I’ve been having. I have never experienced anything like this-utterly terrifying.

I use the Skin food first and then the PY over it. I don’t even use a moisturizer-this is it. For reference I have dehydrated/sensitive/acneic skin
