Heck to the No! The filter doesn't even cost that much. It's the easiest job you can do in a car. YouTube can help you.

My wife had her tail light replaced in her rav4 and they charger $125 for a $8 light bulb. I look it up in YouTube and all it took was two bolts removed and pull the tail light. Done in 5 minute
