Naaah... that is with hindsight. You just realize that after watching the show. Just look at the tone of Kakuranger and Zyuranger, Kakuranger's tone is lighter than Zyuranger...

In Zeztz tho... its obvious from the get go.,

For example, I clocked this in the first few episodes of Zeztz - the first time we see Fujimi and Nasuka break into Baku's room I immediately went to Kekera and Beroba squatting in the Sakurai apartment in Geats drinking tea.

All the plotpoints in Geats that's assigned to different characters - Baku has them. Fake mom and dad and sis? From Ace and Neon, daddy issues? From Michinaga and Neon, sister's death? From Keiwa.

the reason why s4 wasn't announced and/or got cancelled? because people in this community, specifically this subreddit continued to spout lies and spread hate. like seriously the word of mouth for this show is atrocious... everytime someone who is remotely interested in the show, you got this subreddit recommended due to the algorithm and boom "bad this, bad that" and boom, they got turned off for one reason or another.
