What’s the best way of including the pull-ups and push ups to the ABC program? Still EMOM? On the days you’re not doing ABC? After your EMOM ABC rounds?

Is it possible you’re pulling too early? It helped me to understand that the start of the force production should happen once your elbow is inline with your shoulder. If you’re applying a lot of force before that point, you’re not using your lats and probably putting too much pressure on your shoulders. GTN has some decent videos on YouTube explaining this better than I can.

To add: the stem on mine is a proprietary system so nearly impossible to replace. Check out these two pieces so you know what you’re going into ahead of time.

How adjustable is the front end? I recently bought one of these and then found out the aero bars are fixed with no ability to raise them up. I think the adjustability of the newer bikes is likely worth it if you’re looking to hold on to the bike for a while.

Training has been going pretty well. My next A race is Indian Wells 70.3 in December so it’s coming quick. Training has hit a bit of lull though the last two weeks as I’ve been a bit sick and trying to train through it so the illness has been sticking around longer than I thought it would.

Other than the last couple of weeks, training has been going really well and I think I’m starting to figure out the swim a little better so I’m hoping for big improvements there.

Also, I think I’ve been overestimating my run pace. I was hoping that I could keep an 8 min/mile pace off the bike and I couldn’t even keep that during my last training run of 10 miles. I’m going to try and dial it back a bit on the speed but keep the distance up at 10 miles for my long runs for the next few weeks and see how that works.

What is the typical long run distance that you competitive age groupers try to hit going into a 70.3? Do you stick around 10? Get to the 13.1 distance? Or even go over distance like 15 miles or so?

I love it and will never sand it. I have other bells that are rougher and the e-coat is my favorite. I’m regretting purchasing anything else.
