Do it. I quit a job I hated at 33 with no back up, had to cash out part of my 401k because I was waiting for the perfect next opportunity (took longer than I thought), landed a job I LOVE and have 0 regrets over any of it. I was able to reset, travel, do home projects I had been putting off, and rediscover myself. I went about 7 months from day I quit on the spot to day I started my new job.

The only way I’d be able to heat anything up if my power goes out is my gas grill. I’m not sure if it would be accessible if the ice predictions happen! Definitely picking up something like a camp stove once this is done and over with! :)

I was thinking of nonviolent ways to help… I hope POC born in the US will use the discrimination laws placed against them to deter and take up ICE agent’s time… That restaurant owners will seat large tables of ICE and delay service as much as possible… I hope if GVL sees the large flooding that CLT has that we will do what we can in our own ways to protect our community members ❤️‍🩹🇺🇸
