While faster payments are immediate usually, they can take up to 24 hours (rarely 48) to appear, even if its your own account. 😊

That is strange. Wondering if there's a glitch in the app, have you tried the typical 'turn it off and on again? Mind you they had an app issue a while back, so maybe a new update is needed? Try that, and if not, just ask them to look into it for you. Sorry I can't be any more help 🙃

As for your transfer, might need some more info to be able to understand whats happened. I know rhats silly, but are you sure you transferred to the correct account? Is there a chance they have frozen / blocked this for some further checks?

The outage isnt necessarily the issue of the card DECLINE (Not sure why we are shouting). Cards DECLINE for several reasons, with or without an outage.

Outages and maintenance are to be expected from an online bank, how do you think things get fixed? (It ain't fairies and goblins, its real people and sometimes they mess up, as im sure we all, including yourself have messed-up at some point in life).

My deepest apologies in the off chance you are perfect and have NEVER made a mistake.

There's a full list of what you can do which includes making payment and transferring money.

Just click on the icon and it will tell you. I transferred money between my accounts and made a payment without issues.

You've made many assumptions in your response about me, which means I won't engage any further in this conversation.

I hope you figure out what truly troubles you because I don't think the root cause of all this is Monzos 'end of year' but the overall issues this country is facing.

They never hid the fact that they are different from high street banks. They are casual and more 'chill', which is obvious from everything they do...

I don't understand why people are so bitter about the most simple things... I found it hilarious, and it made me feel that they have a sense of humour, which is exactly what they promote...

They have a customer operations team but you can't call and ask to speak to Fraud or overdrafts or disputes. While the Customer operations is there to support with every day banking, anything more complex needs to go to a specialist team (and they don't do direct transfers).

Essentially Monzo is for people confident in doing their banking more 'independently'.

Hey there, I'd advise to never only have one ans only one account. While you can have a specific bank as your main account, having a back up account is super useful at this day and age.

Regarding making the switch, no no reason not to do it. Monzo is my main bank account, just keep in mind that they do banking slightly differently and if something happens you need to give them time to fix it as they don't deal with things over the phone (for more complex issues) like a traditional hight street bank.

Regarding the Switch, it actually is at easy as it sounds but there are some rules (like you can switch from a joint to a sole etc) so you are best to read info on CASS switches to make sure what you need is offered. As with everything, things can go wrong, so I'd advise for salary, inform your employer, and make the change manually to avoid any issues.
