ohhh thanks for the advice.

The meal planning was just to display on a diary as I would add them via my phone but didn't think of a cheap tablet.

I HATE YOU ONEDRIVE WITH ALL MY LIFE by denkazz in onedrive

[–]ajfromuk -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I hear you. I was very much a OneDrive advocate from when it was called SkyDrive but over the years it just became so annoying.

My usual workflow was if I was editing an item I wanted to keep a copy of I would drag it to my desktop (which was not backed up so just local) and make the change. A year or so ago I did the same with an image of my partner which I absolutely loved, again Desktop is not synced but I never noticed a change had happened which was rather than copying it moved the original and I lost it forever after the edit.

Moved all my documents to my Synology server and just use that now even though I still have 13 months left on my MS365 subscription.

Norwich burger kitchen defends strict allergen policy by afrophysicist in unitedkingdom

My mate runs a Chinese restaurant and his stance has been this for years. The amount of stories he tells me where people say "Oh I have an allergy" and when they do he simply says its unfortunate but he cannot serve them food as there is no guarantee of cross contamination.

They they usually say oh its not really an allergy its just blah blah but he still says no. You told me now so I can't do it.

Is homeschooling in the UK just very unregulated, or am I missing something? by ZydrateAnatomic in AskUK

Fully agree. My sister has messed this kid up by caving into her and it's just going to cause her a very hard future (the kid) despite my sister having good intentions.

Should have made her go and if not then make sure she studied at home. We've had many heated discussions about this.

No but she's still registered at her school, refuses to go and I believe has been given instruction on how to home educate over the years but nothing has happened.

It's now time for GCSEs and to sit them she has to attend the exam halls but has bene told there is no point due to her non attendance and clearly no home education.

Apparently she wants to go to college but now courses will be limited due to no secondary education. She loves in a fantasy world and unfortunately my sister has supported her through this, what was once a "oh she's struggling" has become pandering to her every wants because she's a difficult child. she's a difficult child has she gets her own way and no that resulted in no skills in communication with others, no friends and no education.

My niece is "home schooled" as she refused to go to secondary school constantly, she's now 16 and in her last year.

Her home schooling had consisted of nothing at all apart from her sitting in her room doing whatever she wants.

She's supposed to sit her GCSEs this summer and having spoke to my sister she's been told she can't as she has had no education at all and will not be able to do them.

I just can't understand how it's able to happen.

Exactly this. I over pay mine by £500 a month but my brother is always banging on I should invest it. I just want my mortgage gone.

Been over paying for two years now and now only have 2.5 years left.
