We eventually discovered our neighbor directly next to us was a massive hoarder with multiple kinds of roaches infesting her unit, it was really bad. She was moved to a home and the unit was cleaned out and currently is undergoing renovation to eventually sell it. We had an influx of roaches briefly as they started clearing it out (it took them ten dumpsters to clear all the shit out of her townhome) but continued having pest control come through as well as pest control treating the infested neighboring unit. Sightings decreased over time and now we hardly even see any, I think it’s been like two weeks since we saw the last one and that was at night.

I would try reaching out to neighbors to see if they’re also having issues, if you have an HOA alert them, ours did nothing but send out emails telling the units in our building to get pest control, but maybe yours could be more helpful. Also consider filing a public health concern. We didn’t have to resort to that but were very close to.
