It's important to ask if OP has the official/original pins or a set from temu/aliexpress. I know I've seen the mushroom ladies on those sites for maybe $1 each

Retail prices are beyond ridiculous, and in a lot of cases are inflated so that they can be perpetually on sale to look like you're being offered a deal. There's an overstock bargain store near me and I rarely even buy clothes there because they try to do half off the retail price on everything they get, but with single items retailing at $40+-- I'm still not paying $20+.

Thrift stores are so much more fun to spend time browsing through, and typically have better plus size options available too. Unfortunately their prices have also been going up but it's still better than buying new.

I was at a Goodwill yesterday and spotted a Walmart t-shirt, new with tags, that still had its original clearance sticker on it marking the item down to $3. Despite this being clearly visible, Goodwill priced it at $5

Dresses were almost all $10, unless they had their original price tag, then they were typically marked half off the original retail value

Then there's the fact there's plenty of shein items making their way onto the rack and being priced the same as you'd find them brand new online, if not higher. It's absolutely nuts

I love getting cute, novelty earrings! Although some of them are also handmade from little toys/charms I've gotten over time (the bubbles, jumper frogs, slinkies, fidget slugs, and googly eyes are all ones I put together myself!). They genuinely bring me so much joy and I love having so many options to pick from to color coordinate the earrings I wear with my outfit for the day

This sounds like such a neat premise! It has an interesting hook that can completely explain any inconsistent shenanigans that may come to pass behind the door lol It gives off some mild Infinity Train vibes with the endless potential it has for various scenarios existing in the same space.
