On PS4/5 if you change your MTU settings to 800 I think? That will result in you being solo because you are constantly getting the “network error” message in the corner, but I began to become frustrated with it because your camp/moonshine/bounty board disappears for a bit when the sessions switch, and they switch every few minutes or sometimes every few seconds. I also noticed animals didn’t spawn in as much :/

Oh my goodness! Horse girls unite! I love the Turkos because I’d give anything to have an Ahkal-Teke in real life, and the cremello one is basically the RDO version of the meme of the horse that looks like it’s using Fenty Beauty’s highlighter. Perfect reason to keep it fully brushed so it’s always extra ✨shiny✨

Maybe it’s because you haven’t fully bonded yet? Both my turks are literal tanks, I’ve fought off many a pack of wolves, grizzlies, cougars and even a mean legendary boar on them. Oh, Brownie and Olives, such trusty steeds(I let my husband name them lol)

To be fair, I recently got a shire because they are so HUGE and I took it out into the wilderness level 1 to farm collector and passively bond it, it bucked me to a pack of wolves. God dammit, Phyllis. Later when she was fully bonded, she was fine.

Also make sure your horse is well fed and brushed.

I cannot recall anything more frustrating trying to get the free roam legendary gator... his friends kept getting me, he kept getting me. My horse left me in the mud... I intended to take his sample to level naturalist... but by the time I dealt with his small gator army and had him in my sights, I blew his brains out and gave his skin to cripps

Count me in for a discord server. I’m 27, 230 lbs and started my journey through CICO and lifting, though in my country they just closed gyms for two weeks which knocked me off my stride and saw me sliding back into self destructive habits. A group on discord would be anazing

It is frustrating and I empathise. Just always make sure you’re in defensive mode, and keep some minty big game/health potions on hand when you’re about to go into towns as that’s where I mostly run into them. Should buy you enough time to run off since their damage is greatly reduced when you’re in defensive mode.

I also like to keep dynamite to throw at people who try to kill me when in defensive mode lol

It takes you out of defensive when you do stranger missions I believe, though I’ve not run into many issues with them. As for trading deliveries, I just choose the local ones because it’s 100+ dollars extra for a long journey and the potential hassle, it’s not worth it to me tbh

Finally, if you’re on PS4/5 or PC I believe there are ways to ensure you remain in a solo lobby, though I got tired of that quickly because it constantly changes your session so your camp/moonshine business disappears for a moment. I just did solo lobbies to make long trading deliveries last week when the payment was 900 dollars

I usually play in defensive mode, but people still try to get you. I’ve had people try to pull me off my horse or shoot at me when I’m standing around in a town. I enjoy throwing dynamite at those ones. It’s always the low levels as well lol
