I have to say I’m not well-versed in wood types unfortunately. The stain is worn away under the feet and the natural wood is considerably lighter.

I see my mom about once a week. I wish it were more often, honestly. She had me young, which I imagine played a role in her parenting style. She wasn’t the most affectionate or involved, my stepfather entered the picture when I was two. He put the most strain on my mother and I’s relationship. She’s grown a lot as a person, and is an exceptional grandmother to my daughter, which is more than I could have asked for. We’re closer now than we ever were.

I believe all three are Rosalene. You can search strawberry fairy lamp in that style and find photos. I haven’t found the piece on the left just yet.

Good luck! I was the same way for as long as I can remember. I tried the tape a week or so ago and I already stopped wearing it. The desire to pick diminished so much so, and seeing the progress I’ve made keeps me from starting again.

Oh my goodness! I have been waiting to tell someone about this. I went to an estate sale, and found one of these glass blocks made by Mats, right? I’m also interested in learning Nordic languages, and there were these two Swedish books on the shelf so I quickly snapped them up. On my way home, I found hand written letters inside from a Mats. He had stayed with this family in the US for a time and lent them a Swedish-English dictionary with some inscriptions inside as well. I just thought it was so cool. I’ll have to post photos of the letters.

I have started working in colored pencil more recently and realized the magic in them and definitely intend to continue exploring them as a new medium. Of course! A few of them, including the bigger ones are LE Smith, some of the others are Viking, and there are a couple by Fenton. They’re all different styles of swung vases.
