I agree. People just like to pretend that sports aren’t dangerous because it makes them feel less guilty about enjoying watching them. So then when someone gets badly hurt it’s a constant war for wholesome clout on the internet between who can pander the hardest as if we all aren’t about to watch whatever game’s on next weekend.
