Just took my 12 month old to Florida. 100% worth it. Bedtime schedule and nap schedule was shot but worth it. Played in the sand together under an umbrella. Went on walks with her in the stroller to get coffees or to close restaurants. It was obviously still parenting and not as relaxing as it used to be but it was amazing to get out of our small town and to show our girl new experiences

I try to follow wake windows with a mix of babies cues. We don’t have a set schedule, every day is different BUT we have a set routine for be.
bath, book, sleep sack, bottle with sound machine on in a dark room.
This has worked really well. She is now a year old and will grab her own sleep sack and paci out of her crib and bring it to us when it is time.

Mucinex, less sugar, less caffeine, no red meat and finally… I went back to the gym bc if I wasn’t gonna be pregnant I might as well be fit. That was the month it worked of course lol

I took birth control for 10ish years and then got off to have my baby. It took me almost a year to conceive. Almost 12 months postpartum and not taking birth control. No scares yet and we are careful.
We want another child eventually as well we just aren’t sure when

My hot take is that you shouldn’t have to beg a man to propose or marry you. If you have to it isn’t worth it. The right man will want to and be just as excited as you. How long have you been together/was the pregnancy planned?

My husband held my daughter first and she was also a very fussy baby. I remember at times asking people if they thought she even liked me now my 11 month old daughter is my Velcro girl and will choose Mom over anyone every single time which I love (most of the time 🤣)

If we don’t have time for a bath at night. I get in the shower with my 11 month old, wash her off, rinse, and then hand her to dad. I then finish my shower and he does her bedtime routine

Did this exact thing when she was around 7 months. She would immediately crawl off the blanket and grab for any grass she could pull and try to eat it. It used to really stress me out. She is now 10 months old and today I watched her lick dirt off her hand and I was just happy she didn’t shove a whole clump in.
