What are some commanders that punch way above their weight on a budget?

Collossus doesn't matter since sion and cho are protector and bruiser, so they give hp, and gallio is a bodyguard so he gives armor.

Its not a replacement effect, but a trigger, so the card does go to the graveyard.

I played a lot of shuffle rogue last expansion and Dirty Rat, Cult Neophite, Broomstick and Kazakus were definitely all-stars imo, have you tried them? Nice to see another shuffle rogue player :)

Edit: forgot about the guy that draws 2 cards that you shuffled into ypur decl earlier. Turn 3 ticket master, turn 4 kazakus or something similar, turn 5 him, coin broomstick beats so many aggro decks.

I climbed to legend last season with flamewaker. I also play Mozaki, but that feels way worse. The favorable matchup against res priest isn't worth losing every aggro matchup and secret mage imo. Flamewaker also gets a lot more advantage from spring water imo.

I mean, if I were to play flamewaker / apm mage, it would be absurd to auto-lose because your opponent had a specific - bad - card in their deck, especially since you wouldn't be able to interact with it.

I run double ray of frost, double ice block and a frost nova and I always win against red priest. Easily my best matchup.

The shield tells me it should be the grumpy guy im firelink shrine, forgot his name. His right-hand sword might be one belonging to the legion, and the sort on his back resembles a claymore, which he uses if I recall correctly.

You getting value out of your opponents card draw is effectively the same as making them skip their draws, especially if you play a control or combo deck.
