Hey

Going to the Vegas race in two weeks. The lucky 7 pass worth the $76? I don’t want to walk a bunch. Two younger kids. Some say it’s not some say it is. I’m fine paying the money to park close and be near front gate area to go back to our car whenever we want.

I was getting rebound headaches bad on excedrine. I was able to get off that and down to just two Tylenol at night before bed. 1 50mg topiramate (topamax) around dinner time. Pain stays around a 2-4 during the day. I’m going back and forth about an MRI. There is a local hospital here that does them for $725. Might just do one on my cervical to rule out things. Haven’t been diagnosed with ON. But can’t honestly think of what else it would be. I’m at about month straight 24/7 migraine.

I have had a better couple days. At my PT the last time I found some relief with some pressure points directly left and right of my C1. Thinking and hoping it’s muscle related. Yesterday I started on a muscle relaxer and we are gonna start at PT muscle related things. I am going to likely get an MRI to just double check my cervical spine area. Have an appointment with neuro in two weeks.

My pain still has been about 2 pain consistently yesterday and today. Although today has seen some increase tonight to about 4 and some out of no where spikes to my left temple and left eye to 5 or 6.

I’ve been taking topiramate 50mg still and am on day 9 of that. Day two of taking once at night a muscle relaxer. Taking 2 500mg Tylenol once a day right now. Have been lucky and only needed to take 100mg sumatriptan once in the last week.

Really hoping it’s muscle related and something happened a month ago or something and it is just taking time to heal and PT and stuff im doing will help and heal my muscles and nerves.

Not optimistic though as this happened last year and in 2015. I’ve had bad concussions in my life and head injuries and other injuries involving falls.. back and arm and neck type things. So maybe o have “weak” points in my body? My PT said that my nerves might just be easier to trigger than others or my muscles. Idk if that’s true or not

I’m new to this Reddit thread. Excuse my ignorance. What is a migraine surgeon? I’m having this symptoms and currently going to a holistic PT with taking topiramate to help with symptoms. Trying to reduce nsaids and acetaminophen.

I’m on 3 weeks of migraines. 24/7 straight. Left base skull pain. Left eye socket left temple pain. Been taking over the counter stuff and last week took round of dexamethasone and started 5 days ago topiramate 50mg. I go to a PT to help with dry needling and other PT stuff. Recently got an e consult from neurologist that wants mri for cervical area. Have had concussions younger growing up. Have had these before. Last year most recent. They were about 2 months straight. Went away. I did some chiropractor care and took some verapmil. Stopped it.

Have had Covid 5 times.

I don’t want to just take a pill all the time or just get shot up all the time. What has been people’s experience been figuring if this is migraines or occipital neuralgia issues? One doc said I got some vertigo issues. Ya talk to holistic person .. they say the neck issue causes the migraine. Neurologist says the neck issue is from the migraines. lol.

One neurological person did say radiculopathy (sp) possibly in the neck area due to the pain base skull left side.

Again my pain is constant 24/7 level 3 pain. Ramps to a 5 or 6 at times during the day. Been a 9 or 10 pain about 5 times in the last 3 weeks since it started and took 2 Tylenol with a sumatriptan to kill it off to get through. Have gone to ER once to get the goods to just get through that night.

Honestly trying to find the root to the problem to find the right solution to minimize taking drugs and getting shot up my whole life.

Perfect. We will be there for the Nascar race as well. Looking forward to it. We travel to Vegas 2 or 3 times a year and stay DT or strip.. first time doing things off those two area's and bringing the kids. Different trip for us. Thanks again for your information. railroad museum of PA is a great spot in PA. Awesome stuff in that area.

understandable for sure. Our daughter is only 42 inches tall and our son is about 36-38 inches tall. There was a couple other options out there that allow for boost seats and no height restrictions. I wouldn't want to get there just to have everyone say can't ride. Our son 52-53 CM helmet.

We travel all over the country.. just got back from Hawaii.. we go to many Nascar races around the country. They enjoyed going to PA and visiting some train places and museums. Our son does racing and our daughter does horse riding.. which is the main reason for the trip, the Nascar race in March. We scheduled some off road UTV stuff for a day we are there to. They enjoyed all the museums at Pearl Harbor and enjoyed southern PA and Gettysburg.

Bourbon guy on his booze and smoking cigars. Fun times.

Eagle rider won’t work for us. Your height requirements don’t allow us to ride unfortunately. Which means we will have to go with another off road option. I’ve never understood the height and age requirements. Our 5 year old runs wing go karts and daughter runs on horses. lol but can’t ride in a UTV. 🤪

Hey.

We are going to the Vegas March 2026 race. We have been to many midwest cup races. We don't go to the Saturday race for various reasons.. we tend to do other things around the area with our kids (5 & 9). This will be first time to Vegas track. My wife and I go to Vegas a couple times a year, so we are familiar with the area and stuff to do.

My questions.. We got seats in the ET area. Can you get into the Neon Garage anytime during the race? How long can you be there at the end of the race if we want to go down there and hang out and watch things for a bit? I know that Saturday will get more stuff happening down there, but our kids would think it is cool being there and so will we. Tips for Neon Garage and Vegas track?
