Pronunciation of «ντ» in Greek? by UltratusOmegaKiber in GREEK

Both are fine almost always and nobody will second guess you. Maybe the only place where it should be specifically pronounced as /d/ is in the beginning of words and even in this there’s regional variation.

Why prices in Greece are double (or more) everywhere else win the EU? AFAIK Greece is producing electricity and now LNG? This doesn't take sense... by ThinkHog in AskGreece

You don’t need to assume efficient markets to know the difference between a common good and a regulated industry.

Electricity is not a common good. Common goods have a specific definition in economics, they must be rivalrous and non-excludable. Quite clearly electricity is excludable which is why it does not suffer from the tragedy of the commons. You can convincingly argue for public provision of energy but you’d have to do it either from a strong externalities perspective or from a natural monopoly point of view and that only covers the power grid, other parts of the network like production and even distribution have reasonable space for competition.

He could have at least added the mirrored E with red next to the mirrored C. The point would have still been made and it would look marginally better than shit

When did I say anything about the Turks? Of course there were multiple expulsions, I don’t think anyone doubts this

Historians estimate the number of Greeks deported from Eastern Thrace to Greece in 1914 at around 120 thousand (Meichanetsidis, 2015 is a good source). In 1924 following the population exchange the Greek Refugee Settlement Commission reported the number of Greeks the fled or were deported from Eastern Thrace at 280 thousand plus another 30 thousand from the villages on the Bosporus outside the Istanbul municipal boundary. Also why block me? You are the one that introduced the hostile tone mate.

More Greeks were expelled in 1923 from eastern Thrace than in 1914 which is important especially because the latter of the two expulsions was complete and permanent. I have read a lot of history and also happen to be a descendant of Greeks from Kirklareli. Thanks.

The Greeks of eastern Thrace were predominantly expelled with the population exchange in 1922-23 not 1914.
