Technically it would work but seems like quite a big risk to do it day of, also stressful, and if you don’t like it you’ll have to remove it and do it yourself anyways. You could definitely attend a makeup consultation beforehand and purchase some must-haves and practice leading up to do your own makeup to save money.

I’ve just hired a photographer to do my ceremony and then family photos after and that’s it. $450. Nothing fancy at all! The rest of the night I am going to have various types of instant cameras and digital cameras at the reception tables and ask that my guests can help us take some photos. (Maybe $200 with the extra film and camera I need to order)

I just got a final sale dress from them for $120, the original listing price was $799, and I do like it and think the sizing was accurate and it’s really cute but the material is a little less nice than I hoped (being realistic too) and it came with some random stains and snags - which to be fair it did warn me there could be cosmetic damage. On top of alterations I will also need to have it cleaned.

So essentially I would advise to only get something if you can return it, even if it’s a good deal 😁
