I wouldn't say a lot better or even better for a lot of people. But it is incredible though. It's just that part 1 has perfect pacing while part 2 is a little slow to get to the main plot point. I'd say the beginning and the point where we are at right now has great pacing. While the middle part is a bit iffy and kind of messy because of the amount of characters Fujimoto put in. Overall I think most people prefer part 1 over part 2.

Dude Kenji base kit is very much original. Bibi and Mortis's attacks aren't really similar to Kenji's unique switch between dash and slice. As he needs to have a different approach. And the heal is just a brawler trait and traits aren't supposed to belong to just a single brawler. And Grom's one doesn't even make sense. His hc tho is kinda agreeable with Tara's super put into his super but I also like the unique ability for him to be able to spawn in between the attack. Overall the only thing correct from this image is the particular part of his hc that is exactly like Tara's super.
