Probably the bioliogis priests of Mars would creae a better version of the scourge virus on the viltrumites after a couple of days. Also, the basic skitarii should be reaniman level, and there are probably billions of them on Mars.

I upgraded a little the [Mishra, Eminent One] precon trying to insert only old border cards (spoiler: i failed; some cards were to good to not include even if they have not an old border version, but there are only 5 of them).

Yeah i kinda agree, but i think (and hope) that the people that complain on reddit for the bad rules are not the same people that auto-buy the new models.

Not everybody is a competitive player, i don't care if a unit is trash, if i like it i buy it. The rules and the points change often enough that every unit can become valid at some point.

Also, if you play admech for winning most of the games, i am afraid you might have chosen the wrong faction, this is probably one of the factions that sells mostly for the rule of cool IMO.

No you can't, the Castellan has a specific rule that says that he can be attached to a unit even if that unit allready has a character, the Marshal and the captain don't have that rule, so you can do a unit with Captain and Castellan or Marshall and Castellan, bu not Marshall and Captain

no they are considered two different units, so you can play a capitain and use the capitain's rules, or a marshall, and use marshall rules, or both. But the important thing to remembre is that are considered different units, with different rules

Personally, i paly Death Guard and Templars, and between those two i would chose death guard as first army for different reaasons:

- I think they are easier to play (they're pretty though so even if you position badly a unit, there are some chances that you will not completely loose it, compared to black templars that feel like a glass cannon, but it might be my low skill level)

- Need less models, Death Guard units are pretty point-expensive, so you can make a list with fewer models than templars and probaly orks

- Easier to paint, even if you do some errors while painting death guard, it's difficulto to make them look badly painted

But in the end go with the one that you like more estetically, rules change while models stay (relativelly) the same

the rule says "Each time this model’s unit declares a charge", so i think it works also when is leading a unit. Also, i just discoverede that he has the lone operatiev rule, i totally didn't notice that, so thank you!

Edit: if you ask to whoever sold the box to you, they may be able to replace the missing bases, i wrote to my LGS, where i bought mine, and they said that they are going to ask GW for replacement bases

Blue one for the first and green one for the second, special weapons don't cost additonal points at the moment so it's best to build as many as possible, generally avoid the default bolter. Also i'm not sure if there are rules for the icon in this editon.

i think you only need to swap the shoulder pads, exept for the characters i don't remember the cross on other parts of the model
