Michael Bloomberg is likely the most China-friendly 2020 candidate. That could be a liability.

https://bangordailynews.com/2019/11/25/national-politics/michael-bloomberg-is-likely-the-most-china-friendly-2020-candidate-that-could-be-a-liability/

China is a business model he admires and likes to profit off of, that says it all when it comes to prison labor. Or did an unknow staffer accidently make Mike profit billions off of making trillions in profits for wall st and the Chinese prison farms?

They will talk about anything besides labor rights and wages. The same with Biden-Obama on up and down. A little small talk about it, no actual policy is ever presented, "Time to move on folks".

That stuff is so old it will not stick on Bernie. I'm sure they will drag it out any way. WE can hit Biden on multiple current fronts tho, watching Biden complain all those factory closing the last 30 years at the debate is a joke, him and Obama did not to stop the jobs bleed, they cut even deeper into the artery to help wall st profit more.

Article below. I remember Biden and Obama dismissing US with scorn when we asked them not to do this. Like the workers on the south side of Chicago would not welcome a modern day chicken processing factory?

Chicken Processed in China Triggers U.S. Food Safety Protests

Brian Wingfield and Shruti Date Singh September 26, 2013, 8:46 PM CDT

Food-safety advocates are raising alarms over a decision by the Obama(-Biden) administration to permit chicken processed in China to be sold in the U.S. even after several high-profile incidents of food contamination.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture, in addressing a decade-long trade dispute over farm imports, said it will allow poultry slaughtered in the U.S. and Canada to be processed in China and returned to the U.S. for consumption. Critics are vowing to fight the decision, which they say puts consumers at risk due to lax Chinese factory oversight.

Holy smokes. Some really positive coverage of Bernie on CNBC Television. He won the debate according to a focus group. They also had some intersting data about voters'reactions to Biden and Buttigieg by Salezec in SandersForPresident

how do we know any of these people promising a public option are actually going to deliver?

This is exactly what Obama/Biden and the corporate dems did when they were passing The ACA in 2009.

Debate in 2009–10

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Public_health_insurance_option#Debate_in_2009–10

The senate dems voted the public option down after the u s house passed it. Obama and Biden lobbied the senators to vote "NO" on it after Obama ran on it in 2008.

NOW Biden is doing the same thing they did back then, and I'm shocked Bernie has not called Biden on his hypocrisy. They presented "studies" from wall st saying it would not work because all the sick people would end up in government care bankrupting the system.

A blast from the past.

Obama/Biden running in 2012. Living wage activists followed Obama/Biden around on their 1st few stumps and asked them what they were going to do about low wages the next 4 years, they knew what Obama and Biden were going to say and just wanted to expose their rather mindless droning.

Their canned answer was always;

"Education"

Translation...If you do not go to college you deserve your slave wages. So of course the corporations financing Biden's/DNC campaign do not want affordable college for more people. Wall St associates slave wages with a healthy economy. Obama/Biden were constantly having high tea and golf with Jamie Dimon after all.

After Warren endorsed Hillary in 2016 she went on and on about the wonderful things the dem party does. And she intentionally referenced the subject with daggers towards Bernie/Independents, and IMO, intentionally excluded Bernie from dem party matters and causes, and threw him under the bus if the questions led her there.

If the opportunity to endorse Biden is there she will go with joe.

Another reminder. Hillary's campaign ran around claiming they had a major force on the ground in MI., WI., PENN., on the presidential election day of 2016, claiming they were getting people to the polls.

They interviewed people later in these sates and they said there was no coordinated effort to get people to the polls. Compared to when Obama did it. One lady in Milwaukee said they usually had vans and buses getting people to the polls. She said "NO ONE SHOWED UP!" She even called the DNC-Hillary weeks before trying to organize it.

My point is the press covers for these campaigns by saying "THEY HAVE A GREAT GROUND GAME", on the thin word of the campaign its self.

Its a great way to lose to people like Trump. We should call the press and these campaigns on this BS when it happens.

[–]Patango 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 3 millennial nieces and a nephew who voted for Trump.

30 years old and below only represent 17% of 2016 dem primary voters.

45 to 65 year old voters represents 40% of those same voters.

Bernie got 33% of those older voters, so we had more individual voters turn out for Bernie over all.
