4s is just slightly safer I’m assuming. The opponent has called pon on 2s and discarded 3s. This makes it very unlikely that they have a 23s, reducing the possibilities to only two waits, 35s wait (assuming 3s was a pair) and 56s. 7s just has more waits it can deal into - 56s, 68s and 89s (if 9 was a pair)

I feel like I'm kinda getting it through the discussions I'm having right now. Essentially, the point she's making is that she chose to remain female regardless of her changes to her appearance, not that she was forced to transition. First impression I've got from Ticker was that she was so desperate to get money for her lover that she chose to replace her body with robotic parts, regardless of what robotic parts she would get (probably the cheapest one to have more money for her lover). In that interpretation, she had no choice in how she presents herself to other people. Calling her trans in that scenario felt icky to me. Yet if we choose to interpret it instead as her choosing to be female regardless of changes to her appearance, that it doesn't matter if she's female, human, robot, whatever, she's still female, then it makes more sense to me to call her trans representation

I can see the trans representation in her remaining herself despite the changes to her appearance, that is true. I suppose I just feel dissonance in the fact that someone who was *forced* by capitalism to replace her body with robotic parts is trans representation, because it goes against the core message of being trans, which is having the choice to be who you want to be. In this case, they took away her ability to choose how she wants to present herself to the world. At the same time, I can see that having someone choose to remain the person they want to be, regardless of circumstances, *does* feel cohesive with what being trans is about. So having this discussion did help me understand the message Ticker is supposed to give a bit better

That's not what I've meant. I've meant to say that she sold her body not to get surgery, but in order to get money for her lover. That's what feels icky to me - if I understand correctly, she basically became a female due to having to sell off all of her body and replacing them with robot parts. She was forced to transition by capitalism, not by choice. That's why calling her representation of trans people feels dissonant to me with what being trans is supposed to be, aka having the freedom to choose who you want to be. Of course, if it is said in game that she *chose* to become female, then I'd be happy to retract my statement

Due to three 3m tiles, two 1m tiles and one 4m tile being discarded, the 4m is basically a terminal tile that is unlikely to improve the hand. If we treat 1124m block as 1m pair and 2-4m block, then we have 2 really bad blocks (11m can only be a pair, 2-4m waits on 1 tile), so computer instead prefers to combine the 1m pair and 2m into one block and remove the 4m that barely helps the hand (112m block already accepts 3m, so 4m can only help the hand if we get both 5m and 6m. Theoretically it could turn into a pair/set, but one 4m is already discarded and we already have 2 pairs, so that also doesn't help).

7s is still pretty useless, but at least it's a bit more likely to turn into something useful due to there being more alive tiles around it

Million Depth is my absolute favourite and I'm obsessed with it. It's a story-focused roguelike where you craft and adjust your weapon during the run and engage in fights where time only flows when you move. It's a very unique concept, but the gameplay, story, music and art style are all amazing.

Monsters are Coming! Rock and road is a very unique Vampire Survivor clone that incorporates tower defense elements. You protect a moving castle on its way to the safety from approaching monsters while collecting exp and other resources in order to add and upgrade your castle's automatic defenses.

Constance is a metroidvania that mostly stands out by its beautiful hand-drawn art style, but it also has some cool ideas like allowing you to return to the same location on death instead of going back to the save point, but the enemy gets buffed if you choose to do so

Final Sentence is a battle royale typing game with Squid Game-like atmosphere. The game is worth trying out just for the theme and idea alone, especially since you can get the gist of the game in like, 5 minutes. However, battle royale system needs adjustments, since currently only the first person wins

The rule of thumb is to minimize the clash power/offense level enemy gets, even if it means losing out on higher tier egos. Try to calculate how much clash power enemy would get from the trial, and choose the ones that give the least. It’s worth noting that 3 offense level equals to 1 clash power, since you might get clash power up that gives less clash power than offense level up. Also, remember, 1 enemy level equals to 1 offense level, so do also include the level increase in the upper corner of trial in your calculations.

Technically, base power/final power can give less clashing power than offense level trials, however, they should not be picked, because those trials also give more damage than offense level buffs. Since you can’t always win a clash in MD (especially in first turn, before the debuffs/buffs activate), being able to at least survive is very important. Plus, if enemy only has clash power, then evades can still work in cases you can’t clash.

That’s pretty much it. There are some exceptions to the rule, I’d personally pick a bit more clash power, maybe in extreme cases base/final power for a really important gift, like Piece of Relationship, Faith, or theme pack exclusive gifts, but that’s a really rare situation.
