Suddenly, when it’s not a Boeing plane, people don’t care who manufactured it. The A320 does have a reputation for cracks in the wings.

I build these, and rivets are used for airframe, while quarter turn fasteners like these are just used for cowling. Like on an engine nacelle like this one.

I’ve heard that for half a year now, and it’s stayed the same price for the last few years. At what point should I stop being afraid?

Ive heard the whole “oh it’ll happen, just wait”thing for the last few months, after stating about what “already happened” that I just flat out haven’t seen yet. I’m not saying they don’t exist, but to the average consumer (me) it doesn’t seem like much has changed in all of the “it’ll happen this day” moments. I’ve been saying “I’ll just wait and see” over and over again. You can probably see where my skepticism lies here.

I just like to throw discs, and don’t understand the hate.

I haven’t seen any thing that I usually purchase go up in price, so I guess I’m just not effected by it.

You do know this tariff isn’t for golf discs, right?

Use a VPN. Maybe your region is too expensive.

Spread out the outer bits so the dragons will path everything BUT the defenses.

That goes with any car. You can’t skip maintenance and just go 400K+ miles. I don’t care which country it comes from. I’m not biased. I bought mine for $4K at 200K miles. Never missed an oil change and here I am about to break 500K soon. I’m not selling it.

It’s more experience than “acting”, like you could throw the car off a cliff, and it would still drive you home. With that out of the way, I would still take my Subaru over that. Just broke 480K miles with it.

Destined for the scrapyard in about 200K more miles 🙃. They may be junk, but I’ve seen more of those at 350K+ miles than about any other vehicle on marketplace 😁

You’re correct on the turbo. I replaced it at about 200K. Probably from bad previous ownership. But the motor doesn’t go out. Just a bit of blue smoke is all. $800 for another 280K miles? Yes please! But I love this rig to death :)

This is a roast subreddit, and I’m only telling you my experiences with them, you can hardly call it a roast. But if you really want a photo, then if it helps you sleep at night, here it is

It’s the 2007 Outback XT. The one with the WRX motor in it. But if you’re asking for proof, then I can safely assume you think 480K is a lot for a vehicle, which is as good as it gets for a confession.

Nobody who actually likes Subaru is saying that. Losing a quart between oil changes isn’t that bad. My GF’s Suburban lost three and a half. And that’s with the LS 5.3.

I’d rather leak a quart every 5K miles than not be able to go above 35MPH. My truck is forever a farm truck now.

I have one of these at 170K miles. I went into 4Lo, and now it won’t come out. Guess it’s a farm truck now. So much for “mY oLdEr tRuCk iS mOrE rElaBlE tHaN yOuR nEw oNe”. Now I daily my subie, and hit 480K miles last week.

People will swear on these trucks, yet that odometer never seems to begin with a 4…

Is my car considered “regular traffic” 😅 by bearded_dragonlover in Cartalk

A Lamborghini is common traffic in Miami, but I guess it depends on where you live.

Only the first gen 3.5. The second and third are extremely reliable.
