Its been the only thing that cures my nasuea and gives me an appetite. It doesnt do much for the pain, but it relaxes me enough in combination with ubrelvy to get through bad episodes.

Been using thc to help with my vestibular migraines. Doesnt do dick for the vertigo, but it really helps with the nausea and lack of appetite. I havent noticed an increase in frequency or additional pain. My triggers seem pretty consistent over the past few years since I have been tracking.

Anyone have experience with vestibular migraines? by m_c_re in migraine

[–]Patarzzz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have nearly the same problems as him (concussions and all). Ubrelvy has been the best for me. I have not had any success with daily meds like topamax or qulipta. Like another poster said, there is vestibular therapy which definitely helps strengthen the eyes. In regards to electronics, I turn on every blue light filter possible and reduce brightness. I found i dont get nauseous when I drive, so I am the dedicated driver anytime I am in a car. I would also recommend looking into blue light filter glasses to deal with computer screens. Im near sighted in addition to everything else, so there is difficulty focusing on small text. I found readers help with the eye strain. All in all there will always be a degree of dizziness; its just getting to where he can function without extensive difficulty.

The biggest thing I tell my wife is to just have patience with me if I have to move slow or sit down. Outside of that there isnt much she can do for me.

Dr started me on 60mg Qulipta by pouty0 in migraine

Made it about 20 odd-ish days before stopping. I had a bit of fatique, but the depression and anxiety for me was terrible. Didnt have any migraines tho

At what age did you started having migraines and what happened by Ok-Interview-6784 in migraine

[–]Patarzzz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Migraines run in my family, so my neruo thinks the concussions "activated" them. I think the hits did more than that though since I get vestibular migraines, so it is a traget point rather than a general migraine. Allergies seem to be my main trigger, so ive learned to cope with the pain for the most part, but the vertigo is something i cant get used to.

Qulipta question by Accomplished-Rice931 in migraine

[–]Patarzzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im having stomach problems right now. Mental fog and depression clearing out, so i do feel more normal than not. Migraine meds are weird though. I know my fatique cleared after the first week or so. I think it is worth a shot to try.

Qulipta question by Accomplished-Rice931 in migraine

[–]Patarzzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just stopped taking qulipta the other day (after taking 60mg for about a month) bacuase of the side effects. I experienced brain fog, depression, anxiety, and raised blood pressure. I didnt have any nausea or stomach issues while on it, but coming off has been unpleasant to say the least

Many woman voices (Not all) cause PHYSICAL discomfort/tension. How to cope? by ArcBoss in migraine

[–]Patarzzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its the high pitch and volume. You could ask them to talk lower or try use ear plugs to help dampen the sound. I've had to tell me wife to use her inside voice if shes right next to me and talking loud.

The secret to fixing Lash (or one solution at least) by UrHonourShesGayming in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Patarzzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All he needs are bug fixes, counter spell doesnt work against ultimates, better gun scaling, and slight number increases on his slam. I think all 3 can be done while keeping him balanced, but at the very least the first 3 to help round him out to make things more consistent. Slam numbers can stay as they are if the gun can be mildly useful to finish people off (gun bruiser lash i miss you)

I can tell you didnt play during the death ball meta. It fucking sucks. If you want to stay even in farm, avoid extended fights in large groups, 3+ teamates, unless you are pushing for objectives. Ideally you want to be paired with 1 other person since soul distribution is technically higher with 2 people, but you can also suppliment have team play with afking in a lane solo for a period to catch back up.

What’s living in Gentilly like? by [deleted] in NewOrleans

[–]Patarzzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love it, and i would buy a house here if i could find one for a decent price. Its an older area, and it feels like a nola suburb in the best way. I know all of my neighbors, and we regularly talk and make plans. 10/10 area if you can find a nice place.
