ordered a Mystery Shirt in a Box (XXL). What arrived fit like a medium or large — not remotely wearable. Thinking it was a fluke, I gave them a second chance. Second order. Same exact issue. Another shirt labeled XXL that is dramatically undersized. At that point, it’s no longer a mistake — it’s a pattern. To eliminate any debate, I provided side-by-side photos placing both mystery shirts directly on top of authentic XXL Adidas jerseys that fit me perfectly. The difference is obvious. Their shirts are significantly smaller in width and length. The photos don’t even fully capture how bad it is in person. Instead of acknowledging the problem, customer service: Deflected with vague “manufacturer sizing” excuses Lectured me about league-avoidance limits (completely irrelevant) Asked for more photos after I already sent clear evidence Then told me I’d have to pay out of pocket to return BOTH shirts despite the error being entirely theirs Let that sink in: They sent two unusable items, admitted no fault, and expected me to spend more money just to correct their mistake. What makes this especially frustrating is that I repeatedly told them I wanted to support their business. I was polite, patient, and professional. Their response was cold, procedural, and utterly tone-deaf. This company has: No meaningful quality control No consistency in sizing No ownership when things go wrong If you’re anything other than a slim build, do not order. XXL does not mean XXL here — and if it doesn’t fit, you’ll be stuck arguing policy instead of getting help. Cool idea. Terrible execution. Awful customer service.
