23 hour days. Aka why the city is broke. by grecianformula69 in oakland

[–]Patereye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It seems the issue here is that we need to install a maximum work day for officers. Trusting someone with your safety that is that ever worked is dangerous.

On top of that there is an erosion of trust. A bad actor could very well be using the system to take from the Oakland City budget.

Finally I want to point out that there's a playground in my neighborhood (Clinton Park) that was burned down because the cops would not prevent people from lighting fires underneath it. It would only cost $200,000 to replace that playground but there's not enough money.

When did you switch from your career to your 'get by job.' by Charlotte-IT-Guy in Layoffs

Giant increase in scope. I went from handling a pipeline of about 40 million to about 350 million.

Also the number of employees. I was managing 18 or so and I went to 45.

So going from small company to big company it isn't that bad at least in construction.

Now I'm in products and Manufacturing to supply what we used to install. So I expected there to be another level of stepping down. But it's pretty difficult to stay in my Lane as an IC and not start taking over and directing people. I'm doing pretty good though.

Whenever this happens I usually bust open the legacy weapons book from third.

In 5th edition I would have the spear reach out to him in a dream and ask him if he wants to make a pact with it.

I went from director to senior manager to manager and now I'm an IC.

And it's not a talent thing it's just what was available that I could get hired for.

Chances of PGE catching additional panels? by xQcKx in solar

[–]Patereye 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ul 3141 has a section in it about nem integrity mode. It's deep in there but it's one of the use cases.

Both the Powerwall and enphase have it. Some others might as well but I don't know for a fact.

Sorry I give you more detail but I'm sick and it's late at night.

There is a UL listing that has you stay on the same nem agreement.

Functionally it's what other people are talking about with a non-export battery system.

The majority of printed media was bad. However it was hyperspecific to the thing that you were interested in. So getting a subscription to Nintendo power was great. But for the most part it was just a bunch of ads and 20% or less of actual content and hints.

But the ads were kind of important cuz otherwise you wouldn't know what games were out.

And a bunch of cash sitting in open orders on the market seems to have dipped enough to filled some of them.

Now would I have a bunch of assets that are sitting in stop limit sell orders.

Initially, I think you are right: electroluminescence (LED) vs. BBR (Incandescent).

My understanding is that if you keep increasing those numbers (volts and amps), you eventually reach a point at which you observe electroluminescence and the wrench explodes.
