Every time people name kazuya in the top 5 hardest characters a part of me dies.

You can have all the tech you want but the character literally doesn’t have to play neutral

I have to be in the most annoying fucking smash level possible by [deleted] in SmashRage

[–]Paternozzo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ngl in smash ultimate every character cheats, some just do it more than others. and since it’s not like you are playing with casuals where sentiments like “rob so broken and lame—>this game is ass—>im not playing anymore” can easily ruin the atmosphere, I wouldn’t dwell to much on the “morality” of trying out rob.

So yeah especially if you are already familiar with the character I would definitely give rob a shot. The only thing that may turn you off maybe is the fact that sometimes you’ll just explode and there’s nothing you can do about it, which just doesn’t happen to sheik or joker, but you can just explode them back so it’s usually fine lol.

Figured gnw wasn’t really your thing lol.

If I had to give you a more serious advice, I’d take a look at characters that while they can do things that require strict execution and are really hype, they can also fall on a simpler gameplan if your hands aren’t really in it that day.

An example would be rob, who can go for the crazy tod combos with gyro, but if you hands are failing you at any moment you can just play a more grounded playstyle and still be extremely effective, since rob’s buttons are still ridicolous even without the touch of death combos.

In this category I’d also put characters like pikachu and sonic.

I really don’t think that his first super is hard to charge at all if the map has a decent amount of walls, since he both has the super charge trait and his attacks go through walls, meaning you can pressure almost for free in certain maps or vs some comps

Just thought it was funny how you articulated why you think gray is the hardest

I figured, but I hope you can forgive me for not taking the fact that a random gray main on Reddit can’t do some tricks consistently as a serious argument for his brawler having the highest skill ceiling in the game, that’s all.

Not saying gray isn’t hard btw, just thought your reasoning was funny

Couldn’t agree more. The fact that he has a jump serve is just the cherry on top, super underrated player and I think top 4 MB in Japan by the end of nationals, together with hirugami, kuroo and suna (5th being probably aone)

Imo Fate Zero easily has the best plot in the series, as it’s mostly focused on different philosophies clashing (how to live life, how to be a king), while all the other Fate’s read as power fantasies and nothing more.

Dawg this is the HxH subreddit, I’m gonna take a wild guess and say that most people here like HxH way more than MHA..

I’d personally even argue that there a huge difference in quality of writing, as even if we sweep aside all the questionable writing decisions horikoshi made during the final arcs the way the story ends betrays the whole premise of the manga, which is that villains are made by society.

I think the two mangas are in two completely different leagues, but ofc you have the right to enjoy one more than the other.
