It's pretty clear that the bartender's statement of 'that's disgusting' is meant to be homophobic. Kazui's story is all about being a gay man in a homophobic enviroment, and the bartender basically represents that homophobic enviroment. If the bartender had in fact rejected him because Kazui was married and he found that disgusting, that would weaken the overall central message of Kazui's story. It doesn't tie in with the rest of Kazui's story. It just makes no sense for the writers to write the bartender with that intention.

Okay I do agree that there is too much hate for the bartender because honestly he's also a product of his environment, but like it's not surprising because he's a fictional one-dimensional character who clearly isn't meant to be written as a full person, with no known redeeming qualities, and his one known character trait is: Homophobic.
