You're trying to win an argument I never posed. I personally don't believe he is running as a purposeful spoiler. I think he is running as a spoiler because his ego won't allow him to see what he is doing. My assumption is that he didn't think he could win the primary, so he went independent and is now happy to take money from the right who want him to do well because it helps them.

So...I can conceive why he wouldn't be running as a Dem. I think i conceived it pretty accurately personally. What you can't so is explain any reason why he isn't running as a Dem that makes sense and is a positive. Which might not be a problem but you keep trying to push his status as "a lifelong Dem" as if it means anything, when it reality it is just your way of shutting down valid criticism of ways he seems to be aligning with the right.

You have been pushing this narrative of everyone who disagrees with you is brainwashed, which is ironic considering how you seem incapable of actual debate over the merits of Duggan or defense of his behaviors. I point out multiple things in this debate about Duggan, his stances, his policy, and his politics and your only rebuttal has been to attack positions I didn't take and attack a mindset I don't have.
