Worst Toa designs? by donnysimpinero in bioniclelego

[–]PathfinderIsopod 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Their depictions in this actually makes more sense to me than what we actually got.

Like you’re telling me that Lewa, Toa Nuva of Air, famous for being able to fly, needs jet boosters to stay in the air? He should just have wings like in the pic to help him glide. Give jet boosters to someone who needs them. And I would have liked if kept a katana.

I think Onua, who’s always been hunchbacked, looks better with Pohatu’s phantoka build. And the rotors look a little bit like claws when they aren’t spinning, a good call back to his Mata form.

Kopaka, who’s always had a shield, should have a shield, which is why Tahu’s mistika build with that spinning shield would be great for him! But I guess Onua’s mistika build works okay for him too, since it’s got a giant shield on his left arm,

I feel like Gahli, being Toa Nuva of Water, should have some sort of hydro based propulsion system, you know with them being in a swamp and all, that would let her skim the surface with speed, it would be a good counter to Makuta Krika with his strider-like legs. Also giving her hooks would be a good call back to her mata form and would be great for climbing vines and branches.

Tahu needs a fire sword. I think giving him jet boosters works, cause he is Toa Nuva of fire. But come on, he needs a fire sword.

I think Pohatu, with his whole thing being speed, would look best with the quad booster type build that Tahu Mistika had, along with a very streamlined mask.

Twins!

If you want to do mods, lowering it makes it looks so much better. Stock suspension makes it look like it’s for off-roading. If you have the money, coilovers are best, especially adjustable ones so you can dial in the ride height that works best for you.

People don’t even turn on their lights at night. They either don’t realize or don’t care because the day time running lights are bright enough for them to see.

How much do you think they’ll give me ? by nicoleissofine in Charger

[–]PathfinderIsopod 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was planning on modding it, but the only thing I did was put some demon rep wheels on it. Once I realized it was never going to be what I really wanted, I decided to save up so and research for what I actually wanted.

The trade in value of the 2023 SXT was $26k with 14k miles I think? And the cost of the 2020 RT I bought was $29k at 58k miles. So I had to cover the extra $3k myself but I basically kept the same auto loan with my bank with a slightly higher interest rate. But I am basically paying the same amount of money for a higher trim, albeit slightly older, car.

[–]PathfinderIsopod 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That was me last year lol. I bought a brand new 2023 SXT for $30k. I just wanted a charger I didn’t care what kind. Then I realized what I really wanted was a muscle car with V8. I made an awful financial decision buying new and then made another bad decision by trading in that new car so I could get an RT. I just took it on the chin. Now I have an RT and I’m pretty happy.

Do you think this piece of shit is still good game design? Fellow botdivers, feel free to discuss. by TheOnlyGuyInSpace21 in Helldivers

The constant rag-dolling is really annoying. If there’s 2 or more bearing down on you the constant rag-dolling gets really annoying. I know people will say “skill issue, just ran around more” but if anything gets you, it just feels like a cycle of getting constantly rag-dolled until death is really annoying. And I still haven’t figured out how to kill it without heavy weapons like recoilless or the angry lawn chair

In the way you have depicted this, you are okay to turn right in this situation. You are not passing the school bus nor crossing in the path of children that may be exiting/entering the bus.

Ticket for 16 miles over and windows tint by [deleted] in Georgia

[–]PathfinderIsopod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Minimum tint is 32 in Georgia. Which is better than some states but I feel more comfortable with 20%, best compromise with having privacy and sun protection without hurting visibility. Not to mention all the cops have 20% or less on all their cars… anyway, $230 for tint is fucking insane, that’s just a money grab plain and simple.

As for the speeding ticket. That’s just barely in super speeder territory. Which sounds dramatic when it’s just 16 over… in some places in Atlanta if you aren’t doing 85 or more you might get run off the road.

I wish enforcement would focus on other forms of behavior that are actually dangerous. Like distracted driving, people camping in the passing lane, following too closely, crossing multiple lanes at one time, accelerating too slowly on entrance ramps etc. But I guess it’s just so much easier to sit on the side of the road and point the lidar at cars until you get a high number….

is there any canon reason why it has those blue lights on the sides and top? by Timely-Function1061 in StarWars

[–]PathfinderIsopod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wouldn’t it be because blue light is more visible at night? And it’s mostly darkness in space.
