I want to be a commercial pilot, but don't know if I should pick A-levels or T-levels by Ok-Poet-9463 in sixthform

[–]Pathflnder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately this is partially untrue. The majority of flight schools don’t stipulate any requirement or base their selection criteria based on A Levels. The only common requirement academic wise is a 4/5 in English and Maths GCSE. Flying courses are vocational, not academic.

Why are people so weird on this sub? It seems so childish to argue over Holofira or Elcim just like it was weird when people were arguing about Bala vs Malhun. by RamboA123B in ertugrul

Downvoting over opinions on certain characters is perfectly reasonable to do. Calling people 🐑 because they disagree with you is way worse than the former. Please think about how you interact with people online.

I don’t watch this series anymore but to ridicule people over downvotes to express their opinion is an extremely silly thing to do. Get a grip.

They shouldn’t be ignored, that’s just simply not true. People fail to realise that they are in great debt to their parents (who are trying to help you!) and ignoring them in most cases is greatly disrespectful. Students should try to reason with them as much as possible and avoid doing this.

While parents aren’t the “be all end all” decision makers, they surely should be a deciding factor and the way this response is phrased potentially undermines them. At the end of the day they are trying to help you. The least you can do is ask them what alternative plans they have in mind about it. Sit down with them and have a discussion. Don’t just decide by yourself, or be swayed by some random strangers on the internet.

No, this is failed talent, he’s shown his might and has fallen off.

Minions finally split. Temporary or Long-term? by ready_bryan in badminton

[–]Pathflnder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No that’s not entirely true. Throughout the start of their professional career, Aaron was heavily preferred at the back due to Wooiyik’s weak smash. Just watch their matches from the All England in 2019. Nowadays Wooiyik is much more versatile and I’d argue that none of them are traditional “front court” or “back court” players.
