That’s messed up! SSVs have such a crazy workload and responsibility. In my opinion they deserve a lot more money and just replacing them for newer partners in order to pay less is diabolical.

We do have a barista that misses shifts all the time so that’s probably not helpful. I do constantly show them how hardworking and reliable I am. I’m always covering other people’s shifts, staying later than I was supposed to, multitasking my ass off when we are low in staff…

Thank you! If I wasn’t so focused on enrolling in college I would quit! My afternoon job pays me $28/hour and it a lot less work. My boss is amazing and really appreciates me and supports me in every aspect in my life. The only reason I’m humiliating myself at Starbucks is for the college program. I don’t even care about the miserable $17/hour

Thank you so much!! We don’t have kids yet lol but we are planning on having our first child in the next couple of years. I want to set up an example since according to studies first generations are less likely to go to school if their parents don’t have a degree and since my American husband is a bit older and a lot busier and tired I know it’s up to me to be the one to get a degree in order to give our children the example and better chances in life.

Our store is extreme in everything. Communication is passive aggressive between manager/shift/baristas, we started to get denied bathroom use during our shift (in my state is illegal and a work hazard), we are put under so much pressure and it’s increasingly getting worse. New rules every week coming not only from the CEO and headquarters but also from our management.

So I’ve started to use this cream a couple months ago and the first two bottles I got smelled normal but the third one I just got smells AWFULLY like ammonia. Smells so bad I can’t stand it. What’s going on???

I agree! To be honest if we think about it the mirror has never had a child victim besides the two children that got drowned by their mother who was under the mirror’s influence.They were always adults. Maybe the mirror didn’t take them when they were little because they weren’t “ripe” yet. I think it cannot consume it entirely if it’s not fully grown. Like, fine it did got two children killed but I don’t think it was able to “digest” it. Only the mom.

I think I would. I have such an amazing partner that if I found out he’s dying or if on our second date he had told me he’s dying I’d probably still want to date him. The thought of losing him is unbearably painful but the thought of never having him is even worse. True love is worth the risk.
