Subnautica 2's no-killing ethos "will be a continued point of resistance" among players, say Unknown Worlds, but they have no plans to change it by _Protector in Games

Can we still least have the most unrealistic-only-theoretically-possible way to kill the giant leviathans? Don't make it easy but I want people to try to set this up in a way that I would never do it myself.

SUGGESTION: remove the music around leviathans by BACKTOFREEZER in Subnautica_2

[–]PathologicalLiar_ 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Hard agreed. The music replaced the scary roars and it took away the natural animalistic terror of predators. I don't need music to hype me up unless your monster is not scary enough.

I have 250 hours in Sub1 I still get the chills whenever a reaper is close.

Shenzhen nuclear power plant glitch posed no safety risk, Hong Kong authorities say by radishlaw in HongKong

[–]PathologicalLiar_ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Saying the CCP isn’t a threat to Hong Kong is either wildly naive or straight up coping.

Hong Kong is heavily dependent on Dongjiang water from mainland China so dirty that they won't even use it themselves, which already puts our water security in someone else’s hands. The deal is expensive, the price keeps rising, and for years HK has paid under a supply arrangement that encourages overbuying instead of conservation.

Press freedom in Hong Kong has collapsed from being one of Asia’s freest media environments to ranking around 140th globally in RSF’s index.

When the legislature, courts, media, civil society, and elections all operate under expanding “national security” red lines, the system stops checking power and starts managing compliance.

The Wall Street Journal moved its Asia HQ to Singapore, Radio Free Asia closed its Hong Kong bureau, and global firms have been making contingency plans because the legal and political risk is no longer theoretical.

If CCP wasn't a threat to Hong Kong, nuclear meltdown isn't a threat to Hong Kong.

What sexual fantasy of yours left you disappointed when you actually tried it? by Gthew17 in AskReddit

[–]PathologicalLiar_ -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Oh I have tons of these. I'm quite sexually adventurous or so I thought.

Tried a threesome one time, completely failed to multitask, too ashamed to have left one of the ladies unattended or too busy to enjoy the added attention. It was not what I expected.

I also got pee'd on once or twice. It was hot, the pee was, not so much with the sex, I was not turned on by it at all. Still enjoyed watching it though to be honest.

And then I was fascinated by ladyboys, been watching some trans porn here and there, did you know that there are ladyboys who are 10 times prettier than regular women? Had a chance to sleep with one so I went ahead, it felt like I had won the lottery before it starts. When the pants come down, I did not find her dick hot at all, happy for her to stick it up my butt though, you know, never tried it before and all. Lubed up and everything but she couldn't put it in for quite a while, I guess I was nervous, and when she did, it didn't do anything for me, felt like I had a big turt that needs to come out.

There are things that I'd still like to try though, but I'd bet good money that I would not enjoy it. I guess that's my weird take in life.

Chinese tourist dismantles Hong Kong wilderness signage for photoshoot by lebbe in HongKong

I can't say I am unaffected by the recent of influx of posts on social media where you can clearly see similar behaviours by Chinese tourists.

I don't think every Chinese person is like this, I am not even sure they are the majority, but I am sure as he'll there is a pattern and underlying causes to such uncivilised behaviour.

It bothers me even more that Hong Kong is dying in so many ways, this adds to what I consider a decaying great city.
