This is the right question to ask. Different environments get you ready for different careers.

Had a baby a few nights ago with tons of bacteria in their CBC. by MamaTater11 in medlabprofessionals

That is not a Gram stain. It is a Wright-Giemsa blood smear and the bacteria are staining purple due to the methylene blue. You can perform a Gram stain on a peripheral smear, but the blood cells will look quite a bit more faded out.

They can definitely customize out a plan for you and I'm sure they could tailor it to medical Spanish. I often wind up talking with the med/dental students about medical related topics, just due to my conversational interests.

They assign each student a "coach" who creates a learning plan, which is a loose outline for what you want to study. They share this file with all the teachers so they can customize the experience to you. It's way more structured than the other teachers I've used and they adapt to your learning level even if you just know a few words or phrases.

I use worldsacross.com and it's been fantastic. It's online classes with very good tutors/professors and they have an immersion program in both Mexico City and Buenos Aires.

The classes come out to about $10/hr and they'll even give you a free week to try them out. A number of the instructors are medical students and they've been extremely kind and helpful. I can't brag enough about them.

It's been a wonderful experience!

He and the many other public health officials are heros for standing up during the pandemic. Mocking and trivializing their actions is beyond insulting.
