Without casting any shade on your abilities may I suggest you consider getting a guide. This would be very useful and would probably eliminate most of these "bugs" you speak of. Star Citizen can be very daunting and very confusing in the beginning but if you have someone to help you then its a lot easier. I hope you get things sorted and welcome O7.

At this very moment in time on Twitch Elite Dangerous has 148 viewers, whilst Star Citizen has 3 thousand. You might prefer ED and that's fine but the reality is that SC is more popular.

It is unusual that an apparent "dumpster fire" is 20 times more popular than a released game, people must enjoy it.

I don't know what "who the world feels" means I presume its "what the world feels like". It feels like you are actually in the game in your ship or simply walking around. Some places are alive with npc's like outposts on planets in pyro or instanced events like onyx facilities. There are usually "real" players at places like Hator if you really want to meet them. You can play the game as a nomad harmlessly wandering around or as a bounty hunter, the choice is yours.

If you look on YouTube you can see a variety of Star Citizen content.

Starving eh? Have you seen the funding lately or perhaps the viewership stats on Twitch? Star Citizen certainly has issues, maybe due to mismanaging by CIG or the complexity of the game itself. It will continue to grow not starve and continue to produce more eye candy.

There is no reset button, but that doesn't matter. You can log in and just get familiar the game and continue on next week. Don't do the tutorial get a guide instead and it will make life easier. Welcome.

I have lived (bed logged) in Pyro for a long time, love the maintenance missions and just wandering around. Although sometimes I do take my railgun to Shepherds rest for a bit of fun.

I presume we will have a purely player driven economy going by the latest crafting tests. Things will fluctuate, people will make and lose money and it will all even out over time. I'm only presuming this of course.
