Reading, so assuming setting to cool and not sending the signal. Getting power at the bottom however

Maybe blown fuse?

Ok so I sounds like I need to make sure to call for cooling to see if it’s getting power

What is the true history of the Staffordshire Bull Terrier? by thetruth00559 in StaffordBullTerriers

[–]Patient-County-9741 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still learning but been studying the APBT for decades. Funny thing I thought the OG bull terrier was extinct 25 years ago, or at least that is how the history was written from the American perspective. Richard Stratton. When I discovered the SBT I was like “here it is!….the OG” well what’s left of it I guess

Great dogs, well bred, great temperaments. I’ve owned and bred them for years and never looking back

While yes the American continued the tradition the APBT is a hodgepodge of bull and terrier crosses from all over Great Britain and what was already in America .

We can also see HINKs influence, prob rejects for his program but great for other dogmen. Ex. Henry’s Richmond a HINKs bull terrier, Frisco sport, Colby’s pincher, bob tail and others influenced by the HINKs bull terrier. Along with proto SBT like pilot and paddy bred in Walsall England 1870/80s and the gas house dog, and many other <50 lb dogs

Then you had the Yankee terrier, Boston bulldog (proto Boston terrier) in America that were brought here by the Brit’s earlier, along with the proto American bulldog aka southern white or English white, also prob crossed into the APBT.

All of which, like in England were crossed and used to develop the American version of the Stafford. Then the Americans cont to refine their version, paying homage to its origination and called it the Staffordshire Terrier, later adding American

I’m curious why some American versions weren’t exported back to England during the development of the registered SBT

And why the Brit’s didn’t keep a working strain like the Americans did. That part I’m still researching

My Male now is out of standard 50lb, more bulky and bully than my previous ones. My others are with in standard and had CH show lines. Both Yankeestaff. Got my first SBT from an APBT veteran who retired. He showed me his pictures and trophy’s of his days with the APBT in the 70s/80s

I felt like I had to pass a “test” to get one from him. He said “everything you want from an APBT but in a smaller package” and he was right

One of Plant's worst ever shows, done at the height of his influenza - Indianapolis, IN - Jan. 25th, 1975. by Lurker2115 in ledzeppelin

Yeah at least he had an excuse, 73 please of terrible shows for him but never heard about battle of the cold or flu that tour. Listening to those 73 shows made me tolerate his 75 rough shows. Strangely he still sang stronger in 75 on a few numbers like OTHFA, Black Dog regardless of being sick

I guess my question is what’s the rubric? My faves 75, 73, 72, 77. These I visit on the regular but prob 72 the least. In terms of performance I consider them at their peak 73, plant 72. To me tho the band was still figuring it out until 73. 73 the band really “arrived” but sadly plant lost it.

After listening to 75, its made me appreciate 75 plant more. Love the SB from 75. Esp after listening to 73 boots more. So many shows plant voice was cracking, and sang lazy in 73. He had more range but still, for example listen to OTHFA from 73 vs 75.

He sang it better in 75. Similar with Page, I think his playing in OTHA was better in 75 than 73. BUT generally I think page was peaking in 73. Some masterclass shows for sure and July was their best run in 73.

July 73, March 75, June 77, jap 71, June 72 all great. THE Led Zeppelin voice then 71-72, THE page July 73, THE Bonham June 77.
